And they wonder why we mock them

Stand back! Conservatives are revolting (on that you’ll get no argument from me). Here’s a scene from the “Conservative Uprising” yesterday in Washington DC:

teabaggers

WTFOMGLOLOLOL! You’d think with all that pron they consume, they’d know what teabagging is.

Or here’s an even more sinister thought: maybe they do know.

I wish they did know, it’s not quite the type of tea party they’re thinking of is it?

I’m holding myself back on writing a post about this one, too much fun.

    They’ll never get it either.

Bruce – The funny thing is, they’ve obviously heard the expression “teabagging” but they’re like little kids who hear a word that sounds neat so they go around saying it over and over with no idea of what they’re saying. Idiots

    Good morrow, all!
I do believe that so-called “conservatives” have absolutely no inkling (and it takes 10,000 inklings to make a clue) about what they wish to “conserve.”
Family values? Considering that, in the states that support so-called “Conservative Republican Values,” there are higher incidences of obesity, teen pregnancy and divorce, we could describe such people as generally fat, knocked-up and not talking to one another.
The founding principles of America? Traitors to the British Crown founded America. Liberals founded America. Radicals founded America. Terrorists founded America. Guerilla fighters founded America. Deists (NOT Christians)founded America. The fundamentalist Christian conservatives of their day supported the British Crown and its exploitation of the colonies.
BTW, the man who trained Washington’s troops, and enabled them to rout German George’s Hessian mercenaries, was gay. Look it up. Would I lie to you? CTZen

Sounds like a plea for non-partisanship to me :-)

I do believe that so-called “conservatives” have absolutely no inkling (and it takes 10,000 inklings to make a clue) about what they wish to “conserve.”

The “conservatism” we see today, especially the brand that the GOP has warped into, isn’t true conservatism. Conservatism probably started off being about small government, limited government intrusion into the lives of citizens, and careful spending, but it’s certainly not like that now.

The modern incarnation of conservatism is warped almost beyond recognition, thanks to neoconservatives and their expensive global wars, and social conservatives who get off on the concept of government intrusion into private lives and don’t really care how much it costs. The US government wastes money hand over fist on stupid programs to keep the socons happy — ie., abstinence education.

Once upon a time, conservatism was respectable, but the Limbaughs and Dobsons of the world have trashed it.

Well, I had considered that possibility but then I remembered that conservatives are never that upfront about their kinks ;) so I’m going with ignorant.

Butthead snickering aside, I expect they’re suffering the fate of all people unable to conceive of worlds beyond their own experience and really do believe the colonial Americans dumped out cardboard boxes of teabags into the harbour.

Orrrrr, someone realllly subversively clever (likely part of the Gay Agenda tm – because after all, the manual is alleged to be “After the Ball”) started it as a meme verb amid the trusting souls.

I know which theory I *want* it to be.

Maybe those Log Cabin Republicans finally found a way to get back at the fundies in the party for all their bigotry ;)

Is that a fight? Or a moment of runaway passion?

There’s a tendency in modern first-person shooters (such as Halo 3, from which the linked picture comes) for people in multiplayer matches to simulate teabagging over the corpse of a freshly “killed” opponent as a sort of juvenile taunting.

JAB – Ack! I’m OLD and I’ve never played a video game. Just the thought of video games gives me a headache.
