Is it wrong to have such a response to this post at SUZANNE’s place?:
“Filth and degradation in sex-ed class” – that could be a chapter in a Dr. Gonzo book called “Fear and Loathing at Our Lady of Perpetual Indignance High (A Savage Journey into the Heart of the Catholic School System)“, BWAHAAA!

UPDATE (Thursday): Feminists, no doubt possessed by demons, weigh in.

Bwahahahaha.
Good to know there are some Catholics who aren’t idiots.
That “filth and degradation” might one day save her precious daughter from having to have an abortion after another Catholic boy who also didn’t take that filth and degradation sweet talks her after the Prom…
Cuz that NEVER happens at Catholic school, right?
What an idiot that woman is…
Well, it is April FOOLS day, how else to explain such manufactured hysteria? (well she may have a point about the condoms on bottles, bananas might be more suitable, but why make a big deal out of it)
Condoms on bottles? Are they tryin’ to prevent babies or drunks?
Mike
If the students’ response to abstinence advocate Dawn Eden’s “tour” of Ontario Catholic schools last year is any indication, they’re wilder than the average kid. Maybe because their parents are so weird and repressed? Come to think of it, it sounds like the kids could teach their parents a thing or 2
Sassy – Sadly, this is not an April Fools day joke. I wish it was… so much pig-ignorance in the world.
Chimera – Or maybe they’re just making condom rockets.
Speaking of Suzie-All-Caps, she’s had several posts lately that all say the same thing: “Condoms CAUSE STDs!”
If the students’ response to abstinence advocate Dawn Eden’s “tour” of Ontario Catholic schools last year is any indication, they’re wilder than the average kid.
Well, when I was in high school, it was always the girls from St. Pats that were the one who “went”…
Must be something about those uniforms.
JAB – SUZANNE’s been parroting the pope’s pig-ignorance for days, but the problem is no matter how many times you say something, saying it doesn’t make it so.
Mike – Indeed. I knew quite a few girls who went to St.Joe’s in Toronto and they made me look like a shrinking violet. Nobody plays grabass like a Catholic school girl.
JJ — Hey, I knew quite a few girls who had gone to St. Joe’s in Toronto too. We met them when they opted to join us in the public school stream for Grade 10. A lot of them were really nice people, but holy shit talk about a demographic of young women who appeared to have no inner compass about what they were doing sexually and with whom. Generally speaking, the promiscuity and lack of discretion of some of those girls left even some of us free-wheeling young hippie types amazed. We were also concerned that some of them didn’t seem to have any idea of how to take care of themselves in the wild world of sex with boys.
orange – Hahahaha, that sounds about right.
My best friend in my teens & 20′s went to St.Joes, and what a terror. Going to the bar with her was an exercise in shock, awe and babysitting — if I didn’t watch her carefully, she’d wander home with anybody who gave her a second look. I can’t tell you how many times I caught up with her at the door of the bar and dragged her back to the table, kicking & screaming, to the chagrin of whatever young man she was about to stroll off with.
She eventually came out as a lesbian, moved in with a woman, and lived happily ever after. Possibly that was what was driving all the sexploitations, she was confused. She was certainly a lot easier to get along with after she came out.
Urgh. I normally try to avoid John “My Own Private Vatican Taliban” Pacheco but you made me look, JJ.
Vile, simply vile. But the comments after the blog are the payoff.
VERY vile, but also very funny.
It wouldn’t be quite so funny if people like that actually had any power to affect the wider world, though. Fortunately they don’t, and delusional sex-obsessed rants like this guy specializes in are part of the reason they don’t.
There’s a buzz of cruelty and maliciousness that radiates from SoCon’s blogposts, which I don’t get from SUZANNE, in spite of her religious obsessive/compulsive focus on criminalizing abortion. Pacheco is a fundamentalist zealot sociopath who would find the means to do serious harm to his opponents, if angered or cornered.
The poor little guy’s stress is palpable. It’s like watching high-tension wires flailing and spazzing and crackling away as they snap and fall to the roadside.
I don’t think he’s got the parts to hurt anyone physically — that type is more likely to go scurrying to The Authorities or make “veiled” impotent threats.
A textbook case of sperm backup, I tell you
