Actually, several Conservatives voted for the bill, T’ian, including the leader of the opposition at the time. The problem we’re having in this day and age is that aren’t any real Conservatives left; they’ve all been replaced by the Reformatories.
But, JJ, about that picture…doesn’t it look to you like…um…speaking of sex and stuff…you know…aw, never mind…*blush*

Ain’t that the truth. I like watching them fight among themselves, what I call “real conservatives” dumping on socons for being nanny statists and theocrats and the socons dumping on real conservatives for being moral cesspools. Time for the socons to crawl back under their rocks. Sir John A would not be pleased.
sir john a…..good gawd, what an image that brings to mind. when i was in about grade 7 my dad was a conservative (he’s reshaped his opinion with the wisdom of age but really, where was his head at???) and had a fund raising party at our house. for it he rented a wax statue of john a. from madame tussads (sp?). ick. even in grade 7 i understood enough to know everyone there were phony balonies and it was all stupid.
and hey, dems da breaks with gordo campbell back in….amazing that our neighbour to the south had this huge revelation and voted obama in while we stay stuck with the same old same old provincially and federally. where is the mentality of the canadian voter?
oh, gay rights….um, ya, let’s get the homophobos out of this hemisphere!
scout – Yeah, too bad about the election. It would be nice if people had someone who could actually inspire them to go out and vote, and a system that didn’t screw them into the ground no matter who was in power. But that’s probably too much to ask
The photo that’s at the link shows 4 Liberal
prime ministers of Canada. The only one missing
is Paul Martin. That makes five Liberal PMs.
Not a Conservative in sight.
We should try to keep it that way!

Torontonian
Cue the fauxtrage: “Leftard calls for mass murder of all conservatives: ‘Not a conservtive in sight!’”
Chimera
