Thou shalt not steal, bitchez!

Gah!!  The nerve of these slimy socon fucktards never fails to amaze me.  This one wrote a typically putrescent and spittle-flecked anti-gay screed, only to add insult to injury by stealing Mark’s artwork and sticking it at the top of the post!   What the fuck!?

Time to Speak Out_1245629126115The image is gone now, but only after Mark showed up to give Juliebigot one of his famous metaphorical slaps upside the head

…and he was a lot more polite than I would have been.

Seriously, there’s something Wrong with these people:  bad enough they break the 9th Commandment on a constant  basis, now they’re shamelessly and savagely violating the 8th.  Maybe they’re working their way down the list?

Speaking of Mark, here’s his own far more reality-based take on the same topic the soconitwit was shrieking about.  With cartoons!  His own!

I left the following comment – let’s see if she removes it.

You said: “We Christians have been silent for far too long”

Not quite. Those Christians who are tolerant, accepting, pacifist, respectful, altruistic, infused with love inspired by the Gospel and Christ’s words have been silenced by the shrieking, malevolent, threatened, and rage-fuelled fundamentalist so-called Christians who spout hateful propaganda such as you do.

Aren’t there commandments against stealing and lying?

deBeauxOs – Silent for too long!?? If only.

Aren’t there commandments against stealing and lying?

Oh, that was Ten Commandments V.1.1. They fixed that little “Thou shalt not Lie” bug in V.1.2, and now apparently there’s an even newer version (V.2.0) that eliminates the “Thou shalt not Steal” issue.

    Good morrow, all!
George Carlin distilled it all into simple admonishments:
Be Honest. Be Faithful. Be Kind.
But, that would make sense…and we can’t have that – CTZen

I don’t understand their obsession with this idea that people are randomly being converted to homosexuals.

I have rather a large number of gay and lesbian friends – have had for years – and I have never once felt the urge to “munch carpet”. Ever.

I don’t suppose it would help to go over there and point out that it’s really only an issue if they ALREADY HAVE THAT URGE, would it? Can they really be that far in denial?

JJ, like I wrote at the blog, being a “Christian” is nothing but a “Get out of being a decent person free” card. “They” can do anything they want, because Christ is their saviour and died for their sins. The rules are ONLY for us heathen.

There’s been an interesting fight going on over at FD, where one person is attacking others for their tolerance of homosexuals, including taking their kids to a gay pride parade. They pro-gay ones retaliated by pointing out that, unlike the sanctimonious twat, THEIR children are still alive. You see, the judgemental one has had an abortion. But THEIR abortions are OK, because they “Christian.”

The posting in question is by Julie Culshaw.

I wonder how much of it is really hers and how
much of it is cut-and-paste much like that
    Michele Malkin woman.

It looks to me like boiler plate text of
    stock phrases and paragraphs.

    So much for original effort!

A number of her contributors can’t type or
spell or punctuate and they are so gosh-darned
    earnest.

A bit like the curate’s egg, then. Good in parts.

    CT Zen – I miss George :(

Gigi – I think the problem lies in their erroneous & ignorant belief that it’s a “lifestyle choice”. They think a person just wakes up, looks around and says “Hmm, looks like a good day to be gay”. That’s why the ones who do discover they’re gay have so much trouble with it, they think it’s an urge that they can resist, like a cigarette.

RB – Right, the only moral abortion is MY abortion.

Torontonian – It only looks like cut and paste because their BRAINS are cut and paste.

    Haha, thanks JJ!

This isn’t the first time this someone has stolen an illustration out of context (on message boards and such), but using it to introduce an entire anti-gay diatribe was a brand new one to me. 8O

mark’s site is so wonderfully well done and i’m not surprised he was his polite self. let’s hope he doesn’t get hijacked again.

Here in… where?! Now I’m embarrassed to be from Nova Scotia.

And how rude to steal that. Slap Upside the Head is awesome.

  14. 14 JJ Monday, June 22, 2009 at 8:56 pm

Mark – I can’t believe the nerve of that nitwit! Stealing your art! What a thing to find it with, too, an evil anti-gay harangue.

Bet it won’t happen again ;)

  15. 15 JJ Monday, June 22, 2009 at 9:01 pm

Scout – Agree! I wonder what would possess that person to do such a thing. The drawings are wonderful so I can see why someone would like them, but it’s rotten to the core to knowingly using a gay person’s work to accompany a spittle-flecked rant against gays

  16. 16 JJ Monday, June 22, 2009 at 9:06 pm

Sanjo – It certainly was rude, and malevolently ignorant. These people give me a headache.
