RH Reality Check exposes so-called “Crisis Pregnancy Centers”, the anti-choice “fake clinics” that park themselves near hospitals, doctors’ offices and Planned Parenthood clinics in the hope of ambushing women and talking them out of aborting. It’s all there… the disinformation and outright falsehoods they disseminate, not to mention the religious proselytizing — on the taxpayers’ dime, no less — all to stop women from exercising their right to abortion. Especially disgusting is the segment about the young woman who was pregnant, but was told by a CPC that she wasn’t pregnant — probably so she’d hold off until, by state law, it was too late for an elective abortion. These people are scum.
I wonder how they would take to being picketed by SOLAs? I might just grab a few friends and find out…
Another in a series of a Compare and Contrast pieces. Ugh. How many hundreds of hours of undercover recording and what verbal pirouettes did little miss “lila rose” engage in order to entrap a couple of Planned Parenthood volunteers or staff people?

They are not only lying, but are doing it purposely to trick women into not getting proper medical care and into become Christian.
We got them here too. But I don’t think they’re funded by any government. At least two have received smallish grants from the Trillium Foundation, the Ontario body that doles out gambling profits, i.e. public money, to ‘community’ groups. And that reminds me: I wrote to the Trillium Foundation months ago to ask about it and never received a reply.
Must get on it.
Chimera – Actually I think there was one picketed by pro-choicers, in Winnipeg IIRC. Not sure how it worked out.
deBeauxOs – Probably hundreds of hours of interview time went into those highly edited videos. Of course the editing helps to make them look as bad as possible, but in fact there were a couple of times where someone at PP was asleep at the switch and allowed herself to be manipulated into saying the wrong thing. That’s what LR does — just keeps going around & around until she gets the answer she wants. It’s entrapment, but then again, PP should be sharper and on guard for this kind of thing.
Mike – Well, that’s the thing — these people are not medical professionals, they don’t know SFA. Plus they lie their asses off — I can’t believe they’re still banging the breast cancer drum, but there it is, right on video.
fern hill – That’s what’s really putrid about the ones in the states, they actually get taxpayer funding via the “abstinence education” program. (I thought Obama was going to kill that thing, it’s a big fat waste of money.)
Anyway, the one thing I can say for our government is that they’re at least sharp enough to keep CPCs from getting any funding.
The media enablers are still at it with Planned Parenthood, btw. Just WTF are they thinking?
