Wingnut Daily: A Hannity/Palin ticket in 2012?
Talk-show host Sean Hannity, a vocal opponent of Barack Obama’s policies, said today he would not rule out a bid for the presidency in 2012.
Egged on by radio colleague Bill Cunningham, Hannity said he would consider entering the front lines of the political fray if God directs him.
“I’ve never made a decision in my life without – whatever destiny God has you’ve got to fulfill it,” he said. “I’m not sure that’s my destiny.”
Hannity would make a formidable candidate, with the likability of Reagan, good looks and strong convictions. He’s also a polished communicator and knows the issues inside out.
And he can debate.
Oh really?
Is this the same Sean Hannity I was listening to last week, whose rebuttal to a caller’s point that health care was unaffordable to many people was that those people should “just work 2 jobs” or “work 14 hours a day”? Or the Sean Hannity who, when informed that many health insurance policies often won’t pay for treatment when the shit hits the fan, suggested such policyholders were cheaping out on their insurance and they should *just* find jobs that offer ‘the good insurance’, not ‘the cheap insurance’. Easy-peasy, libtards! Especially in the bad economy that Hannity likes to bitch about (depending who’s in the White House).
That Sean Hannity? Paired up with Sarah “Death Panel” Palin?
Later in the program, a member of the audience asked what the host thought of a Hannity-Palin ticket.
I think it sounds awesome. By all means, WND, make it happen.

That wouldn’t be the Sean Hannity who called Rep. Jim Moran (D – VA) an asshole, would it? Or for that matter, the Sean Hannity who was all buddy-buddy with noted racist and inciter of Teabagger violence Hal Turner?
I thought so.
JAB – Haha, I’d forgotten about the role Hannity played in Terry’s return to media whoredom.
Oh yeah, this guy’s got a great background for someone who wants to run for President. Don’t these people EVER think?
I’m praying (in my atheist way) that it’ Palin/Bachhmann (sp)in 2012! Crazy and Batshit Crazy! yeeeessss…
Bwahahaha! Teh Crazy and Teh Stoopid, together at last!
Hemmingforddogblog beat me to saying that WingNutDaily said that Michelle Bachmann was going to run for president in 2012. I won’t repeat what was said other than to say that barring an unprecedented meltdown, a Bachmann/Palin ticket would be a dream ticket; for the Democrats.
Perhaps such a ticket would be good in the long run for the GOP; it could allow the GOP to silence the wingnuttery, authoritarian, “everyone else is evil” faction. This could allow more moderate and reasonable conservatives that don’t obsess over other people’s sex lives to take control (Snowe or Collins perhaps?). The best anyone can do to a governing party is provide a reasonable opposition. That requires real ideas and solutions, not soundbites and rabble rousing.
Rob F – Good point — the more insane the ticket, the more likely it will cause such widespread rejection by moderates that the GOP will be forced to face reality, turf the mental defectives and born-again fascists from the party, and start over again.
Of course, that’s what I hoped would happen after last November’s devastating loss, but instead they just unleashed their inner psychotic and are currently letting it run wild. I think they need a good 12 years in the political wilderness before they catch on.
