From Right Wing Watch, here’s a short video clip of anti-choice fascist Lila Rose, addressing the “Values Voters Summit” on the weekend. Watch closely how the expression on her face transforms into almost a snarl when she talks about how women should be forced to have abortions “in the public square” — a truly medieval hair-shirt punishment routine if there ever was one — then transforms back to a benign smile when she talks about “hearing angels sing”.
I don’t see misogyny behind every tree, but for a few seconds there I saw a hatred of women so raw it was like a slap in the face.
It really makes me wonder about the origins of Ms.Rose’s crusade against Planned Parenthood; what she experienced that filled her with such loathing for her own sex. According to RHRC, it’s a question she “studiously avoids answering“.
