More Scenes from Post-Racial America

Take heart, Troy West, you are not alone!  Yet another white male, restaurant owner Patrick Lanzo, is being persecuted in Georgia, and what the hail, it’s just because of a little old sign that he put up to critique the public health care option.  The hypersensitive and politically-correct are dumping on poor Mr.Lanzo because of this:

That last line is “(N-word) Rig It”, except Mr.Lanzo, exercising his 1st Amendment rights to the max, baby, uses the full N-word.

Although most normal, sane people consider the N-word a disgusting racial epithet, Mr.Lanzo told a reporter that he disagrees because, um, well, he’s been using it all his life.  And he’s not a racist.  So therefore, it can’t be racist:

CBS Atlanta’s Michelle Marsh asked Lanzo why he put up the sign.”I’ve been putting up signs for 22 years and I’ve put up all kinds of political signs,” said Lanzo.“Why did you use the N word?” Marsh asked.“Well, I’ve used it most of my life. There are different ways to put your opinion up, but that’s just the words I choose,” Lanzo answered.  Despite the sign, Lanzo said he’s not a racist.

Mr.Lanzo isn’t kidding when he says his unracist sign is no one-off.  Here’s a sign he had up last year:

“A monkey, Obama.  Is there a difference?“  Totally not racist.

And in case you’re thinking it might just be that he has an axe to grind with  Obama, awhile ago the totally not-a-racist Mr.Lanzo had some (N-)words for Michael Jackson, who has nothing at all in common with Pres. Obama, (if you overlook that race thing):
