Well, she’s turned out to be a very beautiful cat, if I do say so myself – even if this picture makes her look like that meowing cat in that “1 in 3 LOLcats iz on drugs” picture.
JAB – Why thank you. Unfortunately she’s a one-person cat, like a Siamese, and is only friendly to me. She usually hides whenever someone comes over. Maybe that’s just drug-induced paranoia, eh?
Mr. Blue’s apparent size is merely following the basic Law of Cat Volume.
Cat size increases to fill whatever space the cat is occupying…no matter how large the space…so nothing else can share the space with said ruler of the universe.
Plunk a cat on a couch it does not wish to be removed from and watch this law in practise. No matter where you try to sit down, there will be cat.
BTW, this happened about five miles (7.92 km) from my house this morning…
Incidentally, the office building where this incident took place is NOT the main IRS building here in Austin. The main IRS building is closer to downtown, off of Interstate Highway 35.
I should also note that some American Christofascists (including Pat Robertson) have come to believe that IH-35 is the “highway of holiness” mentioned in Isaiah 35:8.

She’s a one-person cat too – nice to everyone else but takes it out on me. I feel like that couch from time to time.
Yours is a very handsome kitty, for a short-hair breed. I’m more of a fan of the long-haired variety.
