We all know Bruce chatted it up well with many bloggers. He would replay his many conversations and comments and the back and forth for me, usually over a few beers, or on the phone. You were often the subject. He respected you much and appreciated the friendship.
Your song choice is so right on. I played that song for Bruce on one of our music nights. He started out saying it was sappy but I demanded he listen again. He heard it and in his tough way a crack somehow allowed him to admit he liked it.
Elizabeth Edwards, who as the wife of former Senator John Edwards gave America an intimate look at a candidate’s marriage by sharing his quest for the 2008 presidential nomination as she struggled with incurable cancer and, secretly, with his infidelity, died Tuesday at her home in Chapel Hill, N.C. Much love, JJ.
