…is the sound of the gears in Nurse Stanek’s brain grinding themselves toothless as she feverishly tries to make a connection between this:
A British citizen in Bangkok has been arrested after Thai police found six roasted human foetuses packed in his luggage.
Chow Hok Kuen, who is 28 and of Taiwanese origin, was held by police after the grisly discovery was made in Bangkok’s Chinatown district yesterday.
… and Planned Parenthood. Or Obama. Or in a perfect Sweet & Sour Fetus Soup world, both.
Trust me, it’s only a matter of time. Who could forget this little number from Stanek’s House of Zygote Zealotry, Fetus Fetishizing & Genteel Racism:

The original story got going after a Chinese artist created a “fetus” out of vegetable matter (Buddhist restaurants can fake just about anything) and ate it as a social critique. The photos got loose and began to circulate without context. This was some years ago when I was living in Taiwan. I remember having to calm down some semi-hysterical Filipino Catholic acquaintances there who similarly misinterpreted the incident. I believe Snopes has something on it.
Indeed, there was a Asian vegan restaurant in Montréal on Saint-Denis that cleverly produced the most amazing and tasty faux seafood and ersatz meat dishes from tempeh, agar and other veggie ingredients.
I never did see faux-fetus on its menu though SUZIEALLCAPS enjoys shrieeeking how gawdless and proabort Québecois folks are.
Yes, Snopes blew that one out of the water, but not before the fetus fetishists went berserk over it. (Funny, I don’t recall Stanek printing a retraction of her idiotic post, but I could be wrong…)
JJ: your post echoes my very first thought when I saw this story. “they are going to blame all pro-choice people for this”

There’s no stretch too far for these idiots. Amazing, really.
