It really is a lovely poster, except I hate the typeface, but I’m a typographer so I’m never happy and consigned to a life of searching for that perfect “face”. Bet that brings back memories of your ad days.
LOL, I knew you’d have something to say about the typeface! It’s just ordinary “lucida calligraphy”. But I wanted something sort of handwriting-y, and I was running out of time 😛 Yes, memories…
I was at the rally to support the coalition in Toronto today. We were asked to observe a minute of silence for the women murdered 19 years ago and for the 600 women murdered since. So, we were silent. But the music for the skating rink continued. It was Janis. It made me smile.
Lovely post.
Speaking of women, if you’re anything like me, old broad that I can’t aspire to be, you need to be told to check your e-mail. 🙂
Okay!
Good post JJ…I’m remembering today.
You’ve got mail
Whoops — “you’ve got mail” was for Bruce 😛
Thanks Mike.
Hey JJ, that’s a beautiful poster.
Ya think? I made it myself! (with the help of google images and photoshop)

Thanks for your help JJ.

Word, JJ.
fern hill – “But the music for the skating rink continued. It was Janis. It made me smile.” And that made me smile. Thanks.
pedgehog – Word up! (I think that’s what the kids say, isn’t it?)
