Conservapedia hit list revealed!

The Morals’n Values Wiki “Conservapedia” published an odd article recently — a list of all Senate Democrats from states with Republican Governors. The significance of these particular Senators is that in the event they are “unable to complete their terms” (so to speak), the Republican Governors are legally responsible for appointing (presumably Republican) replacements.

You see where this is going, right? The original page is no longer happening, but thanks to the miracle of screenshot technology (and Wonkette), here it is:

conservapedia-hit-list

“Nice Senate term you got there, Mark Begich of Alaska. Be a shame if something happened to it…”

Sadly, after the nefarious list was discovered and publicized by some shit-disturbing liberal heathen bloggers, the page suddenly went MIA:

Until a few minutes ago, when it became:

you-can-run-wankers-but-you-cant-hide

Maybe they’re making a new list without all the incriminating verbiage this time, or maybe they’re hoping the power of suggestion in the title will inspire Conservapediacs to make their own lists. On the other hand, Conservapedia has a page on Evolution that repeatedly references something called “Creation Science”, so it wouldn’t be surprising if they thought a bell could be un-rung.

    hahahahahahahahaha!

Conservative rightwingnutz are so entertaining, in that morally vacuous, ideologically ominous and eminently ridiculous way they have.

Whatever will they think of next?

My first response was “that’s unbelievable” but then I realized, no, it’s entirely believable.

    Sigh…

Disturbing. Some states require the governor to appoint a new senator of the same party as the departing senator, seems like that should be the policy in all states.
The depth of right wing nuts’ disdain for democracy has no limits.

Technically that’s conspiracy, right? I mean, the FBI arrested a bunch of semi-retarded Muslims for musings far less obvious or orgnaized, right?

I wonder when the FBI will be arresting the editors of Conservapedia as “enemy combatants”? Come on, Gitmo still has a year left…

deBeauxOs – Why not, eh? Retardopedia is a Spawn of Schlafly production, so no surprise that a stupid and vicious article like that would be featured in it. I’m just glad someone at Wonkette found it before — you know.

Dan – My first response was: This has to be a joke. Then I remembered that these people have no sense of humour.

Nor does their capacity for being whiny-ass titty baby sore freaking losers. Disgusting!

Oh shit, they’ve arrested them for just looking at a tall building the wrong way. Imagine the outrage if this list was published here.

    Good morrow all!
A conservative may be described as one who wishes to keep things the way they never were.
“Watch what you say, they’ll be calling you a radical
A liberal, oh, fanatical criminal…” Supertramp, Logical Song
The USA was founded by liberal Deists, who believed in a disinterested Higher Power Who left men to the devices of their own devising. Had those men, the Founding Fathers, appeared in society today, the mouthbreathing knuckledraggers would have denounced them as enemies of the state…as they certainly were to German George and his Hessian henchmen.
To paraphrase the well known phrase, the triumph of evil requires nothing more than that good men do nothing. Darth Cheney may be gone, his apprentice may be busy completing his toity-training, but the Dark Side never gives up. Neither should we.

It reminds me of when Paul Wellstone died in a plane crash right before the 2002 midterms. Commenters at Lucianne Goldberg’s website celebrated the accident and wished the same tragedy on now-Sec. State Clinton and Sen. Kennedy. (This would be the same Lucianne Goldberg of Linda Tripp fame, and from whose loins the Doughy Pantload sprung.)

But then, hit lists are nothing new for wingnuts. Remember “The Nuremberg Files?” That website that provided a hit list of abortion providers? Yeah. Talk about “classy-with-a-k”!

  12. 12 JJ Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 11:32 am

Chet – 😆 Yeah, it’s kind of hard to look at this list in any other way, isn’t it?

They are saying it was the result of “vandalism”… oh sure…

  13. 13 JJ Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 11:35 am

the Dark Side never gives up. Neither should we.

You got that right. It really is a never-ending battle with these people.

  14. 14 JJ Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 11:38 am

    JAB

    Remember “The Nuremberg Files?”

Oh I certainly do. Nothing less than a hit list.

So we shouldn’t be too surprised to see this from the Wankapedia freaks — it’s standard operating procedure for these clowns.

I’m with RationalWiki, and we watch (read: laugh at, mock, etc.) CP pretty closely. The general consensus is that the hit list was made by a bunch of parodists, with the approval of the core sysops. The folks that run the place are off the rails enough that they’d look at a list like this and have no problem with it, and the evidence suggests that’s exactly what they did.

Poe’s law has a habit of biting freaks like this in the ass on a regular basis.

  16. 16 JJ Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 10:01 pm

Kels – Ah ha, so it was a parody? By them, not by someone like me (who logs in once in awhile to make renegade revisions to various articles)?

Either way, the key is “with the approval of the core sysops”. Still bad.

They are idiots! But what can you expect from anything related to an Assfly?

Wait. What?
