JJ: You are in BC. If I am correct, you and Red should be bragging about the daffodils popping up about now. Right now it’s +3C and we are supposed to have rain tomorrow — but no daffs.

SQ – Yep, coastal BC, although you wouldn’t know it looking outside right now.

The weather was getting pretty normal (ie. +7C) and flowers are starting to sprout, but suddenly the temperature dropped last night, and this morning we had a marshmallow world again. No big deal, it’s only 1/2″, I didn’t even put my truck in 4wd — it’s just that this has already been such a long, horrible winter, we were all kind of hoping it was over.

    Blah! 😉

Hovering between -2C & 0C in Vancouver the past two days as well.

Great Marley vid & performance. Live footage looks to be from the Kaya Tour (1978) which I caught at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver that July. Awe inspiring concert. 🙂

FF – I take it you got snow over there too. Ugh! Oh well, after the ten feet we got in December, nothing would faze me. It’s just that it’s already been such a loooooooong winter… I want it to be over.

Bob Marley was one of the few great ones that I never saw live, unfortunately 😦 Lucky you. I would have loved to see him.

I think this whole line that you live on the Island is a total ruse, You’ve been shitting us for years honey and now the jig is up. OMG! I was washing my windows today. Only because we got a rare chance be above zero.

JAB – Hahahaha, I put Mr.Black outside and he started to run, took 2 steps in the snow and put on his brakes so hard that he skidded.

Most of it’s melted now, thank god.

Bruce – It seems like whenever it snows here, you’re wandering around in a T-shirt washing your windows 😛 I’m getting your weather 😦 But it looks like the next couple of weeks will be back to normal, no snow, lots of rain. Yahooo!

I put Mr.Black outside and he started to run, took 2 steps in the snow and put on his brakes so hard that he skidded.

And then, like any good cat, he gathered up what remained of his dignity and stalked off as if no one had seen his stumble, amirite?

JAB – Urite! He stalked off in as dignified a fashion as he could manage, keeping close to the wall (where there was no snow).

Wait. What?
