Scrubbing Bubbles at Operation Rescue site

Well, lookee here.   Operation Scumbag has been having website “problems”:

I recall their site crashed just hours after the killing (which they had nothing to do with, nothing! and were shocked, shocked I tell you! to hear about, belying their decades-long demonization and harassment of Dr.Tiller).   But not before intrepid bloggers revealed that the murder suspect, who had OR’s phone number in his car, had also been posting on their website and in regular touch with their “senior policy adviser”, who helped him stalk Dr.Tiller.  One can only imagine the frantic purging that went on in those dark, feverish hours of May 31st.   But apparently that wasn’t enough time to do what had to be done, because since then they’ve been running on an emergency site while “fixing” the old one:

Got that?  Their webmaster lost internet service at his office AND his home, AND his computer crashed (probably chewing up a few incriminating files in the process), all on the same day!  The LORD works in mysterious ways!  So…

It’s not “spiritual” warfare these depraved douchebags are worried about, it’s “legal” warfare, and in that respect, the ordeal has only just begun. Keep praying, assholes.

They were obviously praying to Saint Isidore of Seville. Patron saint to all the internets!

SQ – I didn’t know there was a patron saint of the internets. I wonder if SUZANNE has a medallion with this saint hanging over her computer? (I should talk — following a bad accident that almost killed me, for years I wore a St.Christopher’s medal whenever I rode my bike. Bad habits die hard, I guess.)

Yabbut JJ, St Christopher was discovered to have not been historically authentic.

So basically you were fondling a medal of some pagan idol dude.

Between this claim of a cyber attack and Jill Stanek’s whinging over Jesus’ General’s snarky comments, I can’t help but wonder if a pattern is forming here.

Here’s what I mean: you know that “libruls are the REAL racists” meme that’s been making the rounds of the wingnutosphere the last few years (and became the thematic backdrop of the Sotomayor confirmation battle)? I can’t help but wonder if George Tiller’s assassination was the impetus for the fetus fetishists to try to apply a variant to the abortion debate: “Pro-aborts are the REAL terrorists!”

And though it became more blatant in the wake of the Tiller murder (see Stanek’s shrieeek-fest above), I think we saw some of the antecedents of this new talking point in the Bud Feldkamp tragedy. Remember Gingi the Unhingied’s response to the inevitable backlash against her rhetorical shitting on the graves of Feldkamp’s family? Yeah. Exactly.

JAB – This is a pattern and it started before Dr. Tiller’s murder.

The anti-choice movement has a long and odious history of violence and insanity — apart from the actual shootings, bombings, arson, anthrax, bomb threats, etc., just on a day to day basis, the way a lot of the clinic protesters behave is aggressive and meant to intimidate and terrorize clinic staff and patients. We kept calling them on their violence, and they had no answer for it, so a few years ago they started this “pro-abortion violence” propaganda that includes things like protesters getting their signs yanked away from them (boo-hoo) and one or two incidents like the infamous ED SNELL (hi Patrick).

Unfortunately now they have yet another victim to add to their growing body count, and we still have a couple of minor scuffles, so it kind of explodes the myth of the “peaceful” anti-abortion movement. Especially since so much rabid hate rhetoric led to the last killing.

But they will continue to LIE that they’re on the receiving end of threats, just to deflect attention from the very real body count that they’re amassing. Jill Stanek is a liar — either that or she’s a complete idiot if she really thinks that line from Jesus’ General was a threat. (It provided the General with more excellent snark opportunities, though!)
