Another fundamentalist perv

flasher…dances up and joins the conga line of conservative sexual hypocrisy, lechery and deviant lust:

A jury in Arkansas convicted evangelist Tony Alamo on Friday of 10 federal counts of taking minors across state lines for sex, according to the court in the Western District in Arkansas.  […]

Between March 1994 and October 2005, Alamo transported five girls younger than 18 across state lines for sex, according to the indictment.  […]

Asked why authorities were searching the property, Alamo compared himself to Christ.

“Why were they after Jesus,” he asked. “It’s the same reason. Jesus is living within me.”

Um err yeah, okay.

this is the prime reason, why we should legalize prostitution, allow preists to marry, legalize drugs, allow abortion, lower the drinking age.

Repression only gets released in abberrations….and laws create more problems than they are trying to prevent..don’t beleive me?

prostitution: allows pimp beatings on women, spreading of stds, women in deplorable conditions, drug paraphanelia near schools, and crime. If it were legalized, prostitutes would have all the ammenities that all other bussiness have, and would be able to sue, and demand their rights just as any other women in this country. It would be IMMORAL NOT to legalize prostitution, given all the horrible shit you are, as a citizen, allowing by letting it be illegal. The logic is on the side of legalization and certain studies show that it is mostly not legalized because of personal reasons by individuals… pertaining to jealousy…

Drugs: Every population will have a percentage that is gay, likes drugs, etc, etc. The rule of thumb is if 95% or higher of the population agrees on a moral issue, pass it into law (child labour, pedophelia, etc)….If the population is split by even 70/30, you should not make it into law because it is a moral issue that is split, and if you place a law, you are basically favouring one group over the other…legistlating one group of people into controlling another one’s lives…Given statistics on prohibition. Consumption of alcohol was relatively the same before than after the ban was lifted. If we expect a variable 3-5% increase in drug consumption given historical figures of legalization of previously illegal things….you get about the same amount of people using drugs before than after legalization. In the process, you can tax it, make it a wealthy industry, regulate it, and enforce that everybody applying for a liscence require the individual buyer to watch an instructional video about the harm to the brain.

Abortion…the population is spliut 50/40 on this issue morally, so its not fair to pass a FEDERAL or STATE law favouring one or the other group.

when I said laws create more problems than they prevent, I was reffering specifically to abortion, drugs and prostitution.

and I know the arguements against the morality law thing.

Well, what if 50 percent of the population supported slavery, or child pornopgrahy, would that make it right?

But the thing that you don’t realize is, that morality is hardwired into the morality of the collective….it reveals an essential truth, of what is really…moral…how? because we have been neurally hardwired through evolution to accept certain things and reject others to ensure the survival of the collective…(selfpreservation of the system). In any society, child pornography would be looked down upon, because the societies that didn’t would never have come to exist in the first place. Therefore, the collective voice of the people, give an insight into morality. And even in the case of slavery, although most had slaves in north america in the past, I beg to differ that most thought it was actually JUST….very few, mostly religious rightist, really thought that those actions were just….some thought it was convenient…but not just.

but in the abortion case….a huge percentage think it is just to prevent it, and a huge case thinks its right to allow it. They actually think their side is JUST….so it reveals two sides of an arguement of a very complex moral issue that could sway either way depending on the situation. And therefore, it is just not to make a law that sides with one versus the other, given the compelxity of the issue..

Just cruise around the wacko fundi sites, AFA, Focus on Family and the rest and this story and the one about the C Street whorehouse never happened according to them.

Reading some of Alamo’s statements and press releases, I wonder
how he finds any time to do any worthwhile ministry.

Had he listened in the first place, he wouldn’t be where he is today. So that tells me he’s a diploma mill “minister”, a la
Charles McVety and Rondo Thomas and the rest of the CCC gang.

I get the idea that if he hears voices, it is not from God but from within his own head.

There was a term once: cracker barrel philosopher

It seems to fit aptly here.

Torontonian – Alamo seems to be a garden-variety religious grifter, preying on the dumb and dense, just making his contribution to the downward spiral of stupid.

And you’re probably right about the diploma mill.

It will soon get to a point where it’s too big to ignore — oh wait, I guess that’s already come & gone. Never mind, Republicans Walk With God.

    Can’t say I disagree 🙂
