A T-shirted society is a polite society

blank_t-shirt_ash_measurementpage… and wearing a blank T-shirt is like packing around an unloaded gun.  Yeahberetta9mm, it’s exactly like that.

    Republican hypocrisy is nearly unfathomable.

Though to be honest, I heard that one of the gun totters was an Obama supporter. Things cold get very, very weird if this keeps up.

Sorry, JJ, I just can’t quite grasp the
back story about the T-shirts. What is
the problem with blank T-shirts? Your
links don’t help fill in the details.

Mike – Yeah, I heard that too. In a way, I think the Dems should absolutely toughen up and kick some ass. By which I obviously don’t mean they should shoot anyone — but it has to be clarified for some of the less-complex thinkers who might be lurking, and he knows who he is 😉 — what I mean is just ignore these freaks, don’t back down to intimidation and pretty soon they will leave their toys at home. I think it’s a bad idea for everyone to start engaging in an escalating “show off your hardware” contest. That won’t end well.

I’m of a mind that they should just be ignored. Hard not to notice the supreme hypocrisy, though — Democratic protesters wearing anti-bush T-shirts were enough of a threat to get booted from one of Bush’s events, while people are openly carrying guns at Obama’s events.

Torontonian – No no no, the “blank” is just my own take on the old “what good is an unloaded gun?” (which I’ve said myself on occasion 😛 ).

Sadly No is pointing out the hypocrisy of wingnuts thinking they should be able to wander around at Obama’s town halls with guns, when an anti-Bush T-shirt was enough to get lefties booted out of Bush’s rallies. It seems like there are two extremely different levels of what constitutes a “threat”, depending on whether the President is a Dem or a Repub.

I’d rather look at a blank T-shirt than have
to be exposed to the blank minds of the right.

Wait. What?
