Mailer FAIL

This is a good one.

The senate campaign of Congressman Todd Tiahrt (R-KSFetusFetishist) (heh) recently sent out a mailer pledging to Halt Moral Decay in America by supporting traditional marriage, saving the unborn, and whacking the internet and other perverted media with the censorship stick.

But one particular mailer discovered by an intrepid blogger is just a little awkward:

Scott Roeder… Scott Roeder… Scott Roeder??

Always keep your files up to date.   If you’re an anti-choice extremist, that includes checking to see if anyone on your mailing list has assassinated any doctors lately.

And the only response from the Tiahrt camp is they will have to contact their “vendor.” #responsefail

Hey, Roeder Watch, good work on the website.

We’ve been doing some Roeder-watching at our place, but we’re Canajans (eh?) and not so close to the action. I’m going to link to you.

Hi Roeder Watch! That’s still all they said? No apologies, no statements about not being in any way involved with a murderous anti-choice terrorist…? Unreal.

Excellent work on the blog, BTW. As Fern Hill said, we aren’t close to the action, but we’re extremely interested in what’s going on. Keep up the good work.

    JJ –

To this day that is all the Tiahrt camp has said. Of course, the mainstream media let the story die so there was no “incentive” for him to apologize.

Wait. What?
