Palin linked in

sausage_links

It’s hard out there for a Quitbull.

The employment situation must be looking a little grim for Sarah Palin — she’s joined thousands of other online job seekers on “LinkedIn”:

Sarah Palin has posted her resume on LinkedIn, asking for “job inquiries.”

On the site Monday morning, she lists five jobs and one degree, from the University of Idaho. There are also 500+ connections and a hopeful note: she’s also interested in “getting back in touch.”

Yes, really.

Sarah Palin hits the online job market - thestar.com_1256018533760

And why not?  Her book’s already in the price war bargain bin and her chances of landing a future leadership role with the GOP appear to be slim to none.  Maybe she can get a job as The Teabagger Queen.  Also.

She has a bachelor’s in journalism and communication?

And she can’t cobble together a sentence?

And she needs a ghost writer for her book?

And her books is headed to the remainder tables
    before its publication?

Monty Python couldn’t do any better than this,
    or could they?

I almost feel bad for making accurate prophecies re various aspects of Palin’s life and career. But then I read about how she thinks that health care should embrace the free market even more fully in the US, and I worry about the trickle-down effects of this cruel right-wing policy influence on Canada’s system. She deserves the complete experience of the fickle free market on her own life.

Torontoist – Just more proof to me that it’s not what hangs on your wall (degrees ect.) it’s what’s in your head and how you use it that’s important in this world.

  4. 4 RealityBites Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 7:32 am

To be fair, people far more educated and articulate have made use of ghostwriters, especially when the book needs to be out in a hurry before their 15 minutes are over.

That said, I’d still bet on the infinite number of monkeys knocking out the complete works of William Shakespeare before Palin could write a longish magazine article.

    Sarah,

The big mistake you made with liberals was giving birth to your wonderful baby Trig who has down syndrome. The sickos took offense to you not aborting him.

You know, only certain groups of people are worthy of life in a liberals minds, you have to be ‘wanted’, the jews had the same problem with the Nazis, they were not wanted. Also, the jews were referred to as parasites by the Nazis, same as unborn children are referred to by liberals.

Liberals are even if favor of PBA:
This abortion is also used on mid and late term babies, from 4 to 9 months gestation. Ultrasound is used to identify how the unborn baby is facing in the womb. The abortionist inserts forceps through the cervical canal into the uterus and grasps one of the baby’s legs, positioning the baby feet first, face down (breech position). The child’s body is then pulled out of the birth canal except for the head, which is too large to pass through the cervix. The baby is alive, kicking and flailing his legs and arms. The abortionist hooks his fingers over the baby’s shoulders, holding the woman’s cervix away from the baby’s neck. He then jams blunt tipped surgical scissors into the base of the skull and spreads the tips apart to enlarge the wound. A suction catheter is inserted into the baby’s skull and the brain is sucked out. The skull collapses and the baby’s head passes easily through the cervix.

You liberals are so tolerant!!! so kind!!!

Jasper, the biggest mistake your mother ever made was in not aborting you. I urge to you go to her now on bended knee and ask her to rectify that grievous error. Make the world a better place, Jaspar. Leave it. Go enjoy yourself in Heaven where – thank God – I know that if you make it in, no one I could remotely like or care about will be there, you fucked up sick little piece of shit.

  13. 13 Rob F Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 12:32 pm

    Jasper:

Why should there be a moral distinction between IDX and all other methods of abortion? If you are anti-abortion and think a zygote has the right not to be aborted, drawing a moral distinction between IDX and everything else is like saying that a zygote’s right not to be aborted via IDX is greater than its right not to be aborted via any other means. This is directly analogous to thinking that you have more of a right not to be killed by being pushed in front of a Canada Line train than you have not to be killed by being pushed in front of a Millennium Line train. Isn’t that ridiculous?

  14. 14 MariaS Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 1:08 pm

Oh yeah, nice going with the gloating. How sure are you that Palin linked this resume. And, even if she did, did she do it now or years ago? Is it an indication that she has fallen on hard times? You would like to think that, right?
The price of books is determined by the publisher. The author would not care two hoots about that. She got her 10 M+ but I guess, in the circles where most of you as brown envelop receivers are living it up, 10 million US dollars, is chicken feed.
Yes, carry on with the wringing of your grubbing little hands in delight. Palin has fallen on hard times and might even come down to your level of looking for brown envelops in the mail.

    These are your words:

    ————–

Mrs. Palin had a choice and she made it. She decided to
keep the infant. That’s a courageous decision.
No liberal would ever deny her the right to make a choice
and whatever choice she makes, then so be it.

At least we believe that all people have a choice
while the anti-abortion people decide to take it away
    from vulnerable women.

So, which is better now? Allowing a woman to have a
choice and commend her for her determination or
be sucked into the false reasoning that you offer
    as a hypothesis?

I worry about the trickle-down effects of this cruel right-wing policy influence on Canada’s system.

That’s one of the reasons I’m so concerned about the health care debate they’re having stateside right now. The private insurance pimps in the US are connected to people up here who hope to dismantle our health care system by court challenges like the one they’re financing for Shona Holmes. If the US gets a public option, hopefully it will be such a devastating blow for these slimebags that they’ll be forced to put Canada on the back burner.

    The Dodo has landed.

And knows zip about the publishing business. (Well, she knows zip about everything else, so this isn’t exactly surprising.)

Sawah was paid an advance against royalties. Authors make 10% of the cover price as royalties. The sales don’t cover the advance, the author owes the publisher the difference. Sawah certainly does care what price of ‘her’ book is. And how many copies it sells.

Because if it doesn’t do very well indeed, she’s on the hook for a big wad of dough.

  24. 24 QrazyQat Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 2:20 pm

Mrs. Palin had a choice and she made it.

According to rightwingers, including Palin, there is no choice: the fetus must be kept. Yet they say she had a choice, she says she had a choice, a choice she and they want to deny everybody else. Only they get to have choices, in their preferred world.

  25. 25 JJ Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 2:23 pm

The sickos took offense to you not aborting him

Not true. I have yet to read any commentary suggesting she should have aborted Trig. If you can find anything, I’d appreciate a link before you make scurrilous accusations about our character.

Myself, I think it’s nice that she chose to give birth to him, but not everyone has the resources (or even the health insurance) available to Palin, and this is critical with a special needs kid.

  28. 28 Jasper Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 2:30 pm

    more ‘choice’

    Dilatation & Curettage (D&C)
Uncommon today and used during the first 10 weeks of pregnancy. This is similar to the suction procedure except that the abortionist inserts a curette, a loop-shaped steel knife up into the uterus. He then cuts the placenta and baby into pieces and scrapes them out into a basin. Bleeding is usually profuse.

  29. 29 JJ Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 2:33 pm

  31. 31 Jasper Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 2:36 pm

    and more ‘choice’

    Suction
The abortionist first paralyzes the cervix (womb opening). He then inserts a hollow plastic tube with a knife-like tip into the uterus. The tube is connected to a powerful pump with a suction force 29 times more powerful than a home vacuum cleaner. The procedure tears the baby’s body into pieces and the hose frequently jerks as pieces of the baby become lodged. The placenta is then cut from the inner wall of the uterus and the scraps are sucked out into a bottle.

  32. 32 JJ Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 2:37 pm

SQ – I don’t know how you guys can stand going there. I only go there once or twice a week now, and rarely if ever comment. The stupid burns too much.

  33. 33 Jasper Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 2:38 pm

    choice, choice, oh wonderful lies…

    Dilatation & Evacuation (D&E)
Performed during the second trimester (4-6 months) of pregnancy. This method has largely replaced saline and chemical abortions, which too frequently resulted in live births, a complication from the abortionist’s perspective!

A pliers-like instrument is needed because the baby’s bones are calcified, as is the skull. There is no anesthetic for the baby. The abortionist inserts the instrument into the uterus, seizes a leg or other part of the body and, with a twisting motion, tears it from the baby’s body. This is repeated again and again. The spine must be snapped, and the skull crushed to remove them. The nurse’s job is to reassemble the body parts to be sure that all are removed.

..oh you compassionate liberals, your love is just overflowing…

Okay, to be quite honest with you, most of your gibberish didn’t make any sense to me, but I just got home from work and I’m tired so maybe that’s the problem.

    Crazy Qat

Only they get to have choices, in their preferred world.

Actually Palin seriously considered aborting Baby Trigg. She got amniocentesis, which women only do if abortion is up for consideration, and then she admitted to an anti-abortion audience a few months ago that she considered aborting. Funny how someone can be so adamantly anti-abortion that they’d take away that choice for everyone else, but when it comes to themselves, it’s “different”.

What does Sarah Palin’s LinkedIn profile have to do with late term abortions again?

  54. 55 RealityBites Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 5:54 am

Dammned if I know, Dan. Now it’s certainly easy enough to see a connection between her book and a late term abortion. I suspect if the foetishists hadn’t already coined the term “partial-birth abortion” it would have been invented to describe Palin’s literary efforts.

  55. 56 J. A. Baker Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 6:26 am

Sawah certainly does care what price of ‘her’ book is. And how many copies it sells.

Actually, fern, I kind of wonder about that. I think the Human Events/National Review/WingNutDaily bulk buys that boomed her book up to “best seller” status a month before the expected release date may be a “Balloon Boy”-style hoax. They’ve artificially inflated her sales, so now they can add “Best-selling author” to her phony accolades when they trot her out on Glenn Beck once a week to explain why Obama is an evil Manchurian Candidate Islamohomofeminazifascist out to fluoridate their water supply, send granny to the death panel and put dissenters in FEMA camps.

    Just a thought.
