Maddow: C Street — not just for Republicans

When Democrats legislate like Republicans, oh yes, there’s a backstory:

    Good morrow, all!
C Streeters: Putting the “mental” back into “fundamental” and taking the “fun” out.
These people simply can’t wait for The Rapture to take them out of this world. They want their fingers on the buttons, so they can wipe out the “godless” with their nuclear fire, taking us all with them. There’s a word for that…let me see…ah, yes…I think the word is…insane.
Is it not bad enough that, of all the species on Earth, the only one which knowingly and willingly fouls its own nest is…us?
As the most advanced species on Earth, we bear the responsibility of stewardship of His world. What kind of stewardship knowingly and willingly courts the end of all life on Earth?
The C Streeters do not believe in stewardship, they believe in subjugation and dominion. Beginning with the seat of government, they seek to subjugate the country, and then, by force of arms and economic leverage, the rest of mankind. They bleat of the tyranny of others, while seeking their own. They talk about Christian values, and act with the hospitality of the inhabitants of Sodom and Gommorah. They call upon Jesus, who preached forgiveness and understanding, to rain fire upon anybody who will not knuckle under to their domination.
The Christian prays: Thank you, God, for making us your Chosen People, in the name of Our Savior, Amen.
The Muslim prays: Thank you, Allah, for making us your Chosen People, in the name of the Prophet, Selah.
The Jew prays: Thank you, Adonai, for making THEM your Chosen People. It certainly did wonders for us. May it do at least that much for them, Oy Gevalt.
No wonder Jesus wept – CTZen

It was the liberals, after all who called for Mark Foley’s head, not conservatives. Did you forget that Maddow?

Those wicked C streeters. How dare they try to block taxpayer money from executing pre-born humans. Oh the horror Cornelius, what shall we do..

Bah, billions of my taxpayer dollars have gone to slaughter fully formed already born people all over the globe mostly based on lies uttered under torture. Funny that Jasper isn’t all pissy about that. He calls it “liberation” instead.

    Good morrow, all!
In the year 999, the Pope sent out a call for all good, able-bodied Christians to march out to the Holy Land and take back Jerusalem from the heathen Musselman.
Just about that time, the Eastern Orthodocx Church gave the flying fickle finger of fate to his @#$Holiness, and declared themselves no longer under the rule of Rome.
The Crusaders proceeded to march, pillage, burn and generally make a mess throughout Asia Minor, in the name of Their Merciful Savior. This had roughly the effect of taking a stick and jammimg it into a nest of hornets. The Crusaders were amazed when the hornets,i.e., the heathen Musselman, boiled out of their disturbed nests and stung the invaders most painfully.
Now, we have the C-Streeters, the Knights Templar of our day, who want to do much the same thing: rally all good, able-bodied Christians to march throughout the land and take it back from the heathen, er, whatever, you know, uppity folks like, women, gays, blacks, latinos, illegul imgrunts, you know, PNLU (People Not Like Us). Let’s see, stick, hornet’s nest, likelihood of getting stung…Houston, we have a pattern here.
Jasper, I’ve worked closely with devout Muslims. They are among my favorite people, and I am proud to be associated with them. They have proven to be understanding, well-educated, hospitable and most civilized. Would that be why you don’t like them? They do insist that you don’t drag your knuckles on their freshly-cleaned carpets.

    Cornelius,

who said I didn’t like muslims? I don’t recall saying that. I do, I have some nice neighbors who are muslim.

Let’s not get drunk on political correctness though. Not all muslims are terrorists, but 99.9% of terrorists are muslim.

Jasper – The Muslims are just playing catch-up with the Pope’s Stormtroopers 😉

Seriously, it’s not any one religion, and it’s not even religion in general that’s the root of the insanity — it’s monotheistic, authoritarian, my-god’s-bigger-than-your-god religion that causes people to go bugshit crazy and fly planes into buildings, burn women at the stake and launch inquisitions. You don’t see Pagans doing any of this bullshit.

    Jasper

How dare they try to block taxpayer money from executing pre-born humans.

Actually, the argument isn’t over blocking taxpayer money from funding abortion. The Hyde Amendment has been doing that for over 30 years.

The Stupak amendment goes much further — it will even prevent women from paying out of their own pockets to buy private insurance policies that cover abortion.

That’s the main issue. That the 80% of policies that cover abortion right now, will no longer be able to do so if they want to participate in the government insurance exchange program. Which they definitely will, since it’s a huge pool of millions of customers.

Dictating how women can spend their own money is going too far.

Hopefully that stupid amendment will be chopped in the Senate.

We’ll see… the Senate has to come up with their own version of the bill, and out of the two, come up with something workable. There are already 2 Dem Senators promising to add a Stupak-like amendment to the bill 🙄

Thank you, Jasper, for directing us, nay, taking our hands and guiding us to…THE TRUTH!
    “99.9% of terrorists are Muslims…”
I’m sure the Russian Mafiya, the Chinese Tongs, the Japanese Yakuza, Timothy McVeigh, David Koresh, Charlie Manson, the KKK, the Shining Path, the IRA, the UDL, the Red Brigade, the CIA, the KGB, all of whom employ similar tactics in dealing with their enemies, like shooting them, and blowing them up, would be happy to discover that they are, actually, Muslims. I mean, who knew? Apart from you, Jasper.
Of course, there could never possibly be a more reliable source than http://www.thereligionofpeace.com, could there? Perhaps we should take our cues from Jasper, and set aside all of our critical facilities, and simply make a daily dietary habit of swallowing the pure, unadulterated, and psychologically, nourishingly complete content of http://www.thereligionofpeace.com. 25. 25 toujoursdan Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 5:03 pm

Oh good grief. Can this possibly get more stupid?

The reason why Islamic terrorism is higher NOW is that white European/Americans have intervened, invaded and occupied Arab/Muslim lands and/or propped up corrupt proxy regimes like Karzai who just won a rigged election, or the Saudi royal family.

If Arab Muslims invaded the U.S. you bet there would be terrorism in America committed by Christian Americans in an attempt to push the Arab Muslims out, and you’d probably cheer them on. There was even a movie made about this back in the 1980s called “Red Dawn” where kids committed terrorism against Soviet/Cuban invaders in Colorado. Wingers like you love this movie.

If the U.S. invaded and occupied a weakened China, there would be lots of Chinese terrorism there in an attempt to drive those invaders out. If India invaded Australia the Aussies would be planting bombs under Indian tanks and taking pot shots at Indian troops to drive them out.

And no doubt, if they became desperate enough people in all these scenarios would take their own lives for the cause.

No one wants foreigners invading their land and imposing a alien culture or religion on them. It’s very threatening. Culture and religion (or lack thereof) go the heart of our self-identity and when people try to force change on us, we react strongly against it. Terrorism is a natural method of resistance that people of all faiths (or none) employ when don’t have means to organize a regular army and drive invaders out.

It should be bloody obvious. The reason there isn’t much Christian terrorism now is that white European/American (Christians) hold all the military cards and call the shots around the world. The U.S. and Europe aren’t occupied territories or under a proxy regime of a foreign alien power. Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, western Pakistan and the Muslim parts of Thailand are.

    Geez. Think.

Saudi Arabia, which is the centre of Islamic culture and has the holiest sites in Islam had 15,000 “infidel” U.S. troops that stayed on after the Kuwait invasion, which the Saudi population was dead set against having.

Those hijackers came from Saudi Arabia.

Learn how to read, shit for brains.

The Saudi Royal family is an unpopular authoritarian government. Saudi citizens can’t vote in and out the government. They don’t represent the people of country.

The Saudi PEOPLE were against the stationing of U.S. troops on their soil. That is the problem.

The reason the U.S. was there in the first place is that the U.S. encouraged Saddam to go to war with Iran which bankrupted his country to mostly Kuwaiti debt holders which would negotiate Iraq’s war debt. Then the U.S. sent mixed signals about how it would react to an invasion of Kuwait by Iraq. Once the deed was done, THEN the U.S. decided to make Saddam the enemy and pressured King Fahd to allow U.S. troops in and they stayed on after, even though the U.S. government knew it was unpopular.

  32. 32 The Anti-Social Socialist Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 5:38 pm

“OK, now whats your total of the groups you mentioned over the last 30 years?”

Well, the Irish Catholics that were going at eachother were blowing up buildings and killing one another over their religion racked up a tally of about 3000+ people, most of whom were civilians. Roman Catholics and Protestants, mind you.

The National Liberation Front of Tripura is rated one of the top ten most active and dangerous terrorist operations in the world, along with this: “There are too many violent acts of the NLFT to list but most involve kidnappings, extortion, mass murders, rapes, bombings and forced gunpoint conversions.” Oh, and recently, on October 5th, a related rebel cause to the NLFT shot and killed 11 villagers for no other reason then they wouldn’t convert.

The Nagaland Rebels have racked up a couple tens of thousands of murders in their goal of driving for an all-Christian state.

The Lord’s Resistance Army “has been accused of using child soldiers and committing numerous crimes against humanity; including massacres, abductions, mutilation, torture, rape, porters and sex slaves. It is led by Joseph Kony, who proclaims himself the spokesperson of God and a spirit medium, primarily of the Christian Holy Spirit which the Acholi believe can represent itself in many manifestations. LRA fighters wear rosary beads and recite passages from the Bible before battle.”

And on, and on, and on.

Christian terrorism is just as popular and bloody as Muslim terrorism.

    Persian Gulf War, 1991

After Iraqi forces under Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait, placing the Middle East’s largest Army at the time, on the border of Saudi Arabia. King Fahd agreed to host coalition troops, led by the United States, in his Kingdom, and later to allow American troops to be based there. This decision brought him considerable criticism and opposition from his people who objected to the presence of foreign troops on Saudi land, and is a casus belli against the Saudi royal family prominently cited by Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fahd_of_Saudi_Arabia#Persian_Gulf_War.2C_1991

Just because a corrupt government said it was okay doesn’t mean that its citizenry didn’t consider it an invasion.

If the Chinese talked the U.S. government into allowing them to establish military bases in California and New York you bet there would be terrorism here.

    Good morrow, all!
Jasper is quoting Ann Coulter, which is an improvement on channelling her. We are relieved.
“Liberals hate America…” Interesting. In the eyes of the British Crown, around 1776, the Founding Fathers of the Yew Ess, Eh? were radicals, terrorists, traitors, fanatics, rebels,
revolutionaries, madmen, scoundrels…well, at least they weren’t liberals. It all depends on one’s viewpoint.
You see, liberals were the ones who clamored for an end to slavery, for the vote for women, for an end to racial discrimination, for decriminalization of abortion, for gay rights. Conservatives were there to protect the status quo. After all, they could not allow PNLU to believe that they had any rights. By Jesus, let them think that, and equality might break out. And equality — why, that’s downright…UNAMERICAN!
The Yew Ess, Eh? was established, so that wealthy white men could own black people, and kill the Indian red people, and occupy the territory of the Mexican brown people, so they could build bombs and destroy the Asian yellow people.
But America IS white…and red, and brown and yellow, and all shades inbetween, and you can’t hate America without hating people who have done you no harm, or displayed no malice to you.
Liberals hate America, like schoolteachers hate the children in their charge, like doctors hate the patients in their care, like storeowners hate the people who buy their wares, like rescue workers hate the victims of disaster. That’s how liberals hate America. We have all seen the concern that conservatives display for those people. Heckuva job, Brownie.
I guess Ann Coulter has to hang about in dark alleys, hoping that whatever rough trade turns down Jasper might settle for her. Well, no accounting for taste, I suppose.
You just continue to quote that waterless harridan there, Jasper, me lad. It might get you away from those flashbacks about the glory days with Father Fumbledrawers in the vestibule at Our Lady Of Perpetual Motion.

It’s the right that hates America. They are the ones that advocate policies designed to rot America from the inside out. They oppose quality affordable mass public education, universal healthcare, social security, public transportation, infrastructure spending, equality rights, services designed to help the poor climb out of poverty, immigration which is needed to balance an aging population, and they are the ones who want to export middle class jobs abroad and take away the rights of workers to bargain for a fair wage. They want to destroy the middle class and turn America into a Mexico where there is a rich elite and the rest of the population lives in poverty.
