Take 2 cheeseburger and call in teh morning

I can has swine flu?

A 13-year-old Iowa cat has been infected with swine flu, veterinary and federal officials said Wednesday, and it is believed to be the first case of the H1N1 virus in a feline.  […]

The veterinarian who treated the cat, Dr. Brett Sponseller, said two of the three people in the cat’s Iowa home had flu-like symptoms before the cat became ill. The case was confirmed at both Iowa State and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Quarantine the Cat Tower — Let no other kittehs climb up it… or any swines either.

Fortunately, Miss Kitty is the only cat in the house, so the only worry of her getting swine flu is if she manages to get outside and “mingle” with another cat.

Don’t let her mingle! Someone let my cat mingle and by the time I got her she was “with kitten”.

Oh, we don’t have to worry about that. She was “fixed” at the shelter that my brother got her from.

Viruses can jump species, and this one has done so.

    Not good news.

JAB – Very good, very good. Fixed is good. I wish mine had been fixed when I got her — well, maybe not… I wouldn’t have my darling Mr. Blue. But that’s enough.

Janus – Didn’t the same thing happen with the chicken flu or whatever it was called?

I think a lot of this Swine Flu stuff is overdone. I don’t know anyone who’s had it, and I see people all day long (and I ask everyone, haha). There was something going around that everyone had, even me, but it was just some 48 hour thing, not the piggy flu.

The catpocalypse cometh and this kitteh is it’s harbinger.

Wait. What?
