… and oozing with dark and wretched symbolism.  There may be other ways to describe this whacked-out work of art, but those ones will do for now.  Ew!

    The pose and illustrative style appears to be borrowed nearly wholecloth from a Rosie the Riveter style WW2 homefront picture, only the original had the woman in trousers and work shoes with flat heels (and I believe she was being pictured as being on her shift break) The theft would make sense since the clone picture is entitled “Sarah Prepares for War.”

    I suppose having Ms Palin in pants and sensible shoes would undercut the sexualization of Sarah even while she’s promoted as warlike.
