El-Rushbo is A-Okay (physically speaking)

Gee, who’da thunk that an obese, cigar-smoking druggie would have heart problems?  But that’s what a steady diet of haterade, hillbilly heroin and outrage will do for you, and a couple of days ago Rush was “rushed” to a Honolulu hospital (in a socialist ambulance) after experiencing the old telltale sign that the ticker is about to collapse under the weight of all that bile — chest pains.  (Heart Attack in Honolulu — that could be a Tom Waits tune.)

Today his condition has been upgraded to “stable” and Rush says he’s “A-Okay” after undergoing a battery of tests and an angioplasty, and that’s all good.   No, really.   I won’t be one of the many who wish Rush ill

Not I.  It won’t be me who says “I hope he (or his doctor, or his heart) fails“, because that would be vicious, low and wrong, and on the first day of this dewy new year, I won’t do it.

What I will do is enjoy the calm as millions of jabbering dittoheads fall silent without Rush telling them what to think… the only thing that might break the golden silence would be if they decided to bitch about ‘liberals’ being nasty to Rush while he was hospitalized.  But they’re not that dumb and desperate, are they?

Unlike some who take great joy in the deaths of their ideological opponents, I will not celebrate the death of Limbaugh, should it come to pass. As the saying goes, “Without the darkness, how will we know the light?”

However, it is interesting to note that the hospital Pillz-E is being treated at is the very same one that sparked the Birther crazies. Somehow seems fitting.

It’s really quite contemptible. Blob Blogging Wingnut’s latest post is about a Crisis Pregnancy Centre in Arizona that provides pre-natal care to Native Americans in the community.

The Pro-Lies conjecture – total speculation without a shred of proof of any controversy or confrontation between local pro-choice organizations and the CPC – is that the centre was torched by the enemies of Lifeshite.

It’s all about the persecution, and the opportunity to shrieeek that they’re being once more victimized.

    😦

That’s not the smilie I put in. JJ, where’s the coding guide for wordpress smilies? It appears to be different from haloscan.

  4. 4 JJ Friday, January 1, 2010 at 5:05 pm

deBeauxOs – I changed the smilie — is that the one you wanted?

Ugh, I think I’ll wait til some other time to look at the big blue fetus. Today is not the day. (A CPC was torched? Nobody hurt, I hope. Did they own the building it was in?)

  5. 5 deBeauxOs Friday, January 1, 2010 at 5:10 pm

    That’s good, JJ.

It seemed as though the managers of the CPC had a good relationship with the community they served. It doesn’t appear to be an insurance scam.

A suspect was apprehended but unless the motive resonates with the Lifeshite accusations, I doubt we’ll hear more about it.

JAB – Arrrggh, what scum that Breitbart bozo is.

That’s what I would hope is the difference between them and the rest of us — they have death, murder and torture fantasies, and sometimes fulfill them. While there are a few people whose passing I definitely won’t mourn and will undoubtedly play the traditional Queen video to mark the occasion, I don’t actively wish for anyone to croak before their time. It just doesn’t seem right.

  7. 7 JJ Friday, January 1, 2010 at 5:14 pm

deBeauxOs – Huh. If they had a good relationship with the community then it was probably kids messing around. We’ll see, I guess.

Here you go. No need to thank me. It’s a service I provide. 😆

Indeed. Although I might be tempted to do more than a little celebrating when Breitbart kicks the bucket. Serves him right.

    Good morrow, all!
So, Limbaugh The Hutt has suffered some chest pains, some angina distress?

Now that this pompous ass has a pre existing condition, I wonder if his insurance company will drop him or will he be rewarded for all his health care reform (among other) bashing?

If he had died in that hospital, would the death certificate be recognized? *evil grin*

BTW SUZY is in full professional victim mode…

    Good morrow, all!
Now, why should anybody want Limbaugh the Hutt to shuffle off? Between His Hutt-ness, Glenn “Lonesome Rhodes” Beck (sub-reference: the movie “A Face In The Crowd” with Andy Griffith – years ahead of its time) and Sarah “fishing for ideas in a stream of consciousness” Palin, we have a smorgasbord of entertainment that will never cease to delight in terms of selection and quantity. OMG, I almost forgot the Dark Lord Himself, Darth Cheney.

JAB – It’s one thing to celebrate after someone takes a dirt nap, and I do, with great pleasure. But wishing for someone to drop dead is a little over the line IMO. (Not that those people would return the sentiment, but so what. That’s why we are better.)

I have always looked at such people as being their own punishment: yes, Rush is a hatemongering bigot who’s caused a lot of aggravation, but his punishment is that he gets to be that hatemongering bigot, and what an empty, soulless existence that must be.

  15. 15 JJ Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 12:18 pm

CTZen – I haven’t checked for updates on this story yet, but I wonder what Rush was doing when the chest pains set in. Odd that in the middle of the day, in a beautiful place like Hawaii, he’d just happen to be indoors. Lucky for him.

  16. 16 JJ Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 12:22 pm

CK – Fortunately for Rush, this wouldn’t be a pre-existing condition. Someone his age would have had to go through the same tests he took after the chest pains, in order to qualify for insurance. Apparently he has no heart problem (not sure why he’d have an angioplasty if that’s the case — maybe a chunk of something was blocking an artery).

Or maybe he was filling his nose with blow and it was just too much 😆

I almost forgot the Dark Lord Himself, Darth Cheney.

Although I would never wish the old scumsucker dead, I do have a nice bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon I’m saving for the occasion.

  19. 19 Bleatmop Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 1:46 pm

I wouldn’t wish any of these guys dead. They need to be here when Obama goes to his second term. Then their collective heads could explode, and hopefully on national tv so that I could put them on youtube synchronized to the cannon blasts in the 1812 Overture.

  20. 20 Torontonian Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 2:38 pm

I wish Limbaugh a long life. What with his increasingly
serious conditions and his ever worsening overall health,
his monthly premiums will skyrocket and he will not be
covered for many situation that will besiege him in
    his latter years.

May the American health system and the insurance
industry do him what he and his Republican cronies
have done to mainstream America lo these many years.

A long and miserable life to you sir and may the
greed you so fondly advocate conume you in the end.

    The Pigman had chest pains?

Well, we all know it couldn’t have been a HEART attack. There’s no “there” there.

  23. 23 JJ Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 9:30 pm

Bleatmop – After last year’s head explosions and subsequent brain damage, I’m almost afraid to see what will happen in 2012. They don’t have a chance in hell, and by the looks of things they’re getting more disorganized every day. Ugh. It won’t be pretty.

  24. 24 JJ Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 9:32 pm

Torontonian – The unfortunate thing is that he’s so loaded it wouldn’t matter how high his premiums went — he would always be able to afford them. And his fortunes will continue on that path as long as the political situation remains the way it is.

But like I say, he has to be Rush, and that’s punishment enough for anyone 😉

  25. 25 JJ Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 9:35 pm

CTZen – Sadly, in a very real way Rush will live forever, in the archives of EIB radio and on youtube, spreading hate from beyond the grave.

  26. 26 JJ Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 9:39 pm

Bina – Limbaugh’s heart: takes a lickin and keeps on tickin!

Actually, he lost and gained a lot of weight this year, neither of which is good for the old ticker, so it could be that simple. (But I’d rather think that when those chest pains hit he was in the throes of ecstasy with some kind of farm animal and had his nose stuffed in a pile of dummy dust — it would be irresponsible not to speculate, you know?)

  27. 27 Bina Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 8:57 pm

Mummy dust–is that the new nickname for Hillbilly Heroin? 😆

And I suspect he’s into underage kids (of what gender, I’m not sure). It’s his anti-choice co-religionist, Neal Horsley, who’s the critter-humper.

Wait. What?
