    Of course, from those numbers alone and thanks to our system of government, one cannot rule out a Bloc majority.

    Ha! 😆 Hypothetically, that might be true. If every seat in Quebec went to the Bloc, that’s about 75 seats, which might put them in the majority if the NDP and Green party were to take seats away from the Liberals and CPC.

    Unlikely to ever happen, but interesting.

    It’s helpful to remember that the Bloc was born out
    of the Conservative Party. It was Mulroney who caused
    the walkout and the party’s creation in the first place.
