Whoops

Did someone forget to write “Renew domain name” in their daytimer?:

Hey, it can happen to anyone:  a 40-year-old, world-famous rock and roll magazine, or even the Conservative Party of Canada (April 1, 2015).   Haha!

Yikes! Rolling Stone still doesn’t work, somebody’s got sot ‘splainin to do.

Actually, I should watch out with my own domain. When I started it I put it on my sister’s credit card and every year they automatically renew it on her card. I know she’s aware of it but she’s never said a word and this has been going on since 2001.

Apparently it’s a hack and not a domain issue.

    Uhhhhhhhh…..

    But

Do the cool kids today even need Jann Wenner cash-cows to tell them what to listen to?

    ____
    …..or watch?

    Ha!

I wondered about that! I’ll stop wondering if the world has come to an end…

Bruce – That’s why people need annual daytimers to tell them what’s coming up a few months down the road.

It looks like it’s sort of working now, but not up to par with the usual RS site. Someone in their IT Department is in deep shit!

FF – I checked the whois and it doesn’t expire til next year, so yeah, likely a glitch (what RS is saying) or a hack.

RossK – Thank you! That was wonderful! I love your busking vids.

ellroon – A while ago I was getting a page with music stuff on it, not up to their normal site quality, but at least something there. But NOW I’m getting “Page cannot be displayed”.

    Something weird’s going on!

Yeah, forty was about when my memory stopped working as well. And I’m sure the drugs I was doing weren’t nearly as good as Wenner’s.

Forty? It lasted that long??? You’re lucky.

Wait. What?
