Carlin on the 10 commandments

Too funny.

Sigh.  I really miss George.

I had the pleasure of seeing him live and I had sore ribs from laughing for days after.

    Good morrow, all!
JJ: You don’t have to miss George. All his stuff is on DVD, there are interviews on YouTube, and his books are forever. Thanks to modern technology, he is immortal. As long as he is remembered, he will live in our hearts.

Classic! Boy do I miss George Carlin 😦

    Good morrow, all!
What we miss is any new material he might have developed. He died before he could see Obama elected. Actually, what he wanted to see was the election of a black, Latino, left-handed vegetarian atheist lesbian in a wheelchair — who doesn’t like dogs. Might give the swinging dicks at the Pentagon a few conniptions here and there.

    Good morrow, again!
BTW, I remember Carlin’s routines from his appearances on 1960’s TV variety shows. He was active for a little over 50 years.

psa – I saw Carlin live at Massey Hall in 1971 or 72. He was freaking! hilarious!!! Funniest show I’ve ever seen.

Can you imagine what he would have had to say about the teabaggers? 😆 Or for that matter, the state of the Republican party in general. Ha!

    He is SOOOOO missed.

I think he’d be appalled at where the U.S. has gone since his death…

    Good morrow, all!
Would George be appalled? Hell, no, he’d be delighted! Talk about yer fresh material on the hoof! He’d be all over it like Tiger Woods on a waitress! Those knuckle-draggers would put a smile on ol’ George’s face. He’d love it! The country was circling the drain when he was last interviewed by Olbermann, and it’s only circling faster now. Sarah Palin, those flip-flopping Repitilian senators, those spineless Democrats, man, he’d be running in circles, biting himself in the small of the back like a dog with ticks and chiggers.
Cue to Marlon Brando in Apocalypse Now: “The bullshit! The bullshit!”
I can see Jesus now: “Damn straight I had to send him to Hell! The angels wouldn’t stop laughing!”
