    Good morrow, all!
I’m still waiting for the sky to fall.
    Okay…how about the Rapture? Hmm…not so far…
Okay, then the world just has to end right now!
Yes, the package is not perfect. Neither was the Constitution, hence all those Amendments. Neither was the Emancipation Proclamation. Or voting rights for women.
Come to think of it, those are all evolving concepts, constantly seeking improvement.
So, what’s next? Repealing Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell? Bringing the boys home? Putting the brakes on the Too Big To Fail banks?
Who knows? Maybe The Big O will develop the Big Mo(mentum).
Yup, sure as Jesus rode a dinosaur into Jerusalem – CTZen

CTZen – No falling skies, but there sure are a lot of exploding heads.

I’m amazed the Dems actually grew a spine and got it done. It’s not much of a bill but it’s a start — a very historic day.

You know how most of Canada feels about Tommy Douglas — that’ll be Obama in another 40 years. And the Repugs know it, and are shitting themselves accordingly.

    Looks good on them!

Huh. So the USA is finally climbing out of the ranks of third-world countries, eh? ‘Bout time!

Will the teabaggers be there to wave goodbye to Rush Limbaugh? 😆

  5. 5 Torontonian Monday, March 22, 2010 at 4:45 am

So, Limbaugh is going to leave the US and live elsewhere.

Let’s see . . .if he moves to a country without any public
health scheme, he’ll have a small field to choose from.

Perhaps someplace like Togo or Chad or Mali, but they’re
    filled with non-whites.

The Asian sub-continent is filled with non-whites.

Australia and New Zealand are out because of their
    health-care schemes.

The Americas are out because they’re populated by non-
whites. (But a good supply of maids, cooks and drivers).

Oh, I know! What about some Pacific Island populated
with American military? Truk or Guam or American Samoa?

Let’s hold him to his word and help him leave the country.

Janus – Seriously. They are the only country in the civilized world that doesn’t have some kind of affordable health care available to all its citizens. Sick!

  7. 7 JJ Monday, March 22, 2010 at 8:10 am

SQ – Hopefully Rush will take them all with him.

  8. 8 JJ Monday, March 22, 2010 at 8:12 am

Torontonian – I’d agree that he should be held to it otherwise be forever tarred as a hypocrite, but really, he doesn’t care and his fans are too brain dead to remember or care. They’ll excuse any hypocrisy because they’re hypocrites themselves.

Rush did say Costa Rica which, on the one hand, does have universal health care for its citizens but, on the other hand, also has an extensive system of private clinics which are already a popular destination for U.S. medical tourism.

Link didn’t format correctly. Trying again.

Sen. Jim “Obama’s Waterloo” DeMint’s Facebook page is getting slammed with pranksters posting links to this YouTube video:

FF – Yes, whatever happened to Rush’s “threat” to move to Costa Rica? He hasn’t said anything about it since.

JAB – Haha! Looks good on the asshole. (That David Frum piece, aptly titled “Waterloo”, as in the GOP’s Waterloo, didn’t help matters.)

I wonder if they’ll learn something from this…

    NAAHHHH!

Wait. What?
