Slime or Reason

Another serious discussion is temporarily derailed when someone swaggers over from the children’s table, puffs toughly on a tampon they found in the upstairs bathroom cabinet, and growls

Cross-border cunting!

But seriously: although I’d love to see the idiotic “War On Drugs” scrapped tomorrow now yesterday, this illustrates why I’m pessimistic about it ever happening.  Upper-right quadrant conservatives are such inveterate punishment freaks that they don’t see anything wrong with our government lamely kow-towing to that of another nation and allowing them to extradite and imprison our citizens for something that’s barely worth a wrist-slap at home.  Given that liberals talk a good game about decriminalization but generally fall in line in the wet-ass hour, I don’t see this changing anytime soon.

That chart is pretty messed up. Do you actually agree with that, and consider Harper’s Conservatives to be “right-wing”??? They aren’t at all in the pro-moral camp. They’ve stolen the liberal platform, and are doing an excellent job of it.

That chart would need to be re-scaled by a factor of 10,000 to have somewhere to put a dot for the Christian Heritage Party. (Lower right quadrant.)

In other news, one more corporate grifter seems to be avoiding the noose:

Paul – Are you in the CHP? How about taking the test?

There is no way the CHP would be lower right quad. Sadly, that would require being in favour of keeping out of other peoples’ personal business, not exactly the Christian right’s strong suit.

    Take the test, buddy 😉

smelter rat – Pocklington Redux! Has there ever been a time when this guy wasn’t one step ahead of the law? 😆 I can’t help but admire his tenacity.

Nice use of the graph there, JJ. I have seen it before and am delighted it is now being used.

croghan – You took the test here last year, didn’t you? The lower left part of the lower left quadrant was jammed with little dots representing readers who did the test. Except for me 😆

You know, just for fun I tried to take the test as I imagined a CHP supporter would answer.

I found myself unable to do it. So much of the test is secular and economic, or related to issues like class and nationality.

RB – I notice Paul hasn’t responded with his test results. I bet it was something like a +10/+10 😆

Wait. What?
