The Turning of the C-30 Screw continues

Although the government appears to be backing off from introducing their intrusive new internet snooping/spying/sticking-their-noses-in-the-citizens’-private-business bill, today Anonymous once again takes to YouTube to speak for angry Canuckistanian web surfers and issue  a warning… 7 Days, Mr. Toews!:

I wonder how long it will be before Toews or one of his brain-damaged fellow travellers analogizes the Anonymous videos with the ones put out by bin Laden every so often?  He’s already insinuated that Canadian citizens who dare to disagree with his ham-fisted attack on internet privacy are Enemas of the State who Stand with Child Pronographers. “Terrist” can’t be far off.

On the other hand, maybe the time for Toewsian arrogance is past.  Considering the kind of putrescent slimeball he obviously is, I bet he’s got a lot more skeletons clamouring to be released from a closet whose door is just barely hanging on by one stripped and rusty Robertson.

If he resigns he can always say he wants to spend more time with his familieS.

Whatever Anonymous has, it’d better be a bomb-shell. Anonymous SAYS it’s not bluffing, but, as I’ve said before I suspect that Vic Toews is going to call their bluff. Guess we’ll see what Anonymous is holding in seven days time huh? Here’s hoping it’s on the same level as the Nixon scandal, because nothing short of that is going to budge this government one iota.

I’m not so sure that giving Vic Toews 7 days to comply was the best strategy. I think it would have been more effective to publicize this incident now, because I’m pretty sure that cabinet is going to think that they’re bluffing.

I have this image of the Cons madly going over everything underhanded / illegal they have done in the past 6 years and working on a spin / excuse / marking a fall guy, for each one, . . . . . resulting in flow chart as big as the front lawn of Parliament, AND hoping like hell that they haven’t missed anything 🙂

Toews will probably take a page from the McKay cook-book and get the Army, or better yet CSIS (yeah, CSIS, can’t you just see our 21st century version of the Keystone Kops madly whiffling through Utube vids searching for Anonymous’s next posting?)
Since McKay seems to be blatantly getting away with exploiting the Armed Forces of Canada, once again, for his petty needs, can’t imagine anything that Toews has said or done that will warrant more..after all, if you’re in the Emperor Steve’s Jets (F-35 Division) you got all the back-up at the Cons’ disposal – disposal being the operative word….

I must admit that I am intrigued. I’m hoping that the have something more substantive and and damaging than that he likes his infidelity and nepotism. Perhaps they caught him eating at McDonalds last week or something?

A Thailand sex tour with underage prostitutes would be good.

Aren’t they off on some kind of break? Maybe that has something to do with the 7 days.

A greasy pig like Toews probably has a few more skeletons in his closet. The morals-and-values types always do.

😆 Ah yes, the notorious Flow Chart of Shame.

I suppose you could be right. We don’t do scandals with the same kind of panache as they do south of the border… not much in the way of rent boys, diapers, or airport washroom toe-tapping (and people wonder why I’m so fascinated by US politics).

But there’s always a first time, and it wouldn’t surprise me if it came from a sanctimonious old fart like Toews.

Taking another stroll down Sarcasm Street? 😉

    Underage male prostitutes.

It’s always the self-righteous, judgmental creeps like Toews who end up being found in a rubber suit with a gerbil up their ass!

You’re probably right. But not going public with it now makes it look like you’ve got nothing, or are going to try to make something up. I thought the gauntlet was thrown down pretty handily last time around. This almost looks like they’re backing down…. Almost.

Lol, well. I actually am interested in what they have. I actually hope they have something substantive too. I just hope they have done some research and realized this isn’t the UK and that Canadians expect their government to be corrupt. I mean, in the UK, the population freaked out because of misuse of spending accounts. Stockwell day having a military chopper pick him up from his fishing trip and Robocall scams are just another news week here.

Don’t forget the ball gag, JJ.
