Useful Idiot of the Week

Gordie doesn’t seem to remember that we already had “this debate”, 20 years of it, and it ended 21 years ago, almost to the day.

I find it hard to believe that someone could blithely comment at SUZANNE’s place hoping to find some “common ground” with anti-choicers, get slapped upside the head for advocating a “late-term” law when “LIFE starts at conception“:haloscancom-comments_1232890292657

and STILL not understand why pro-choicers oppose any kind of legal foot in the door for these people.

FUCK!

Well, Gordie has been driven to commenting on other blogs because so far not one person has commented on his fourth kick at this can.

He got some what must have been very gratifying attention on his first three forays into Opening Teh Debate and he obviously liked it.

oh ken… everyone knows that babies are tender and delicious but adults are stringy and tough. silly thing.

Perhaps Gord should focus on legislation that would protect those that his brother-in-arms Ken decribes as ” … any adult born with a withered … part that wasn’t developed including the brain …” in the name of self-interest.

fern hill – I was just a little pissed off this morning πŸ˜‰

Gordie’s entitled to his opinion, it’s just a little irksome that a “progressive”, someone who seems to be fairly normal on other topics, is so out to lunch on this one. And because it’s not his rights he’s willing to put on the line, it’s ours, and they were hard-fucking-won. That’s what pisses me off.

    Oh well. Onward.

    psa – πŸ˜† Don’t forget the BBQ sauce πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜›

deBeauxOs – Ken’s comment was perfect, talk about proving my point. There’s Gordie, nicely offering concessions to find some “common ground”, and old Ken comes back and says “Fuck you! It’s not enough!” πŸ˜†

Kevron – Thanks for the link, but there’s not much point weighing in with twatsy since all he does is repeat the same questions over & over, for some reason expecting a different answer. I’m tired of his jacking around, it’s boring and irritating.

OTOH, if you’re weighing in, it might be worth my while to go have a look… just for lols. πŸ˜‰

  8. 9 KEvron Sunday, January 25, 2009 at 4:57 pm

“for some reason expecting a different answer.”

    the very definition of insanity.

I went over an slapped Patsy for you. Cue the accusations that I threatened him with a gun or some other nonsense.

psa, you’ll find a nice sage rub adds an unbelievable accent to the flavour.

Mike, I’m more partial to rosemary and garlic πŸ˜‰

Btw, JJ, excellent smackdown in the comments at Dammit Janet!

  11. 12 JJ Sunday, January 25, 2009 at 6:05 pm

KEvron – Exactly, and I’ve already wasted too much time on it. If he really wants to “debate the abortion issue” he can go over to Bread’n Roses and fly at ‘er.

  12. 13 JJ Sunday, January 25, 2009 at 6:09 pm

Mike – Thanks, buddy… maybe I’ll go have a look tomorrow. I had a long day dealing with idiots and I’m in no mood to read Patrick’s nitwittery right now.

  13. 14 JJ Sunday, January 25, 2009 at 6:10 pm

    FF – Which one πŸ˜†

  14. 15 Frank Frink Sunday, January 25, 2009 at 6:41 pm

JJ – This one, which Mike cut & paste over to a comment thread at CC’s place.

  15. 16 JJ Sunday, January 25, 2009 at 7:41 pm

FF – πŸ˜† Oh, that was a good one, yes. πŸ˜›

I knew Dr.Morgentaler didn’t support any legislation, and it took me about 2 seconds to find proof. Gordie’s a good little googler, I’m surprised he didn’t find that article himself. I mean, if you plan on making a quote from someone the cornerstone of your argument for a law, it might be a good idea to find out how that person feels about legislation.

Then again, errors by omission are not uncommon among the fetus fetishists.

“By your logic it would be Ok to kill any adult that was born with a withered arm or any other part that wasn’t developed including the brain.”

Like his brain? That must be what these guys are so worried about.

couldn’t help but join the fun over at gordie’s. ross played a game of run away after his last line of garbage was exposed at our place. i generally ignore the loaf that waddled like a man but sometimes it is fun to kick the idjit.

  18. 19 JJ Monday, January 26, 2009 at 6:22 am

    psa –

the loaf that waddled like a man

    πŸ˜† You bad πŸ˜‰

I find it frustrating to deal with Twatsy, he’s obviously trolling and just enjoys starting arguments and pissing people off, but I couldn’t resist one response to his idiocy.

However, it’s impossible to have an actual discussion with someone who won’t even pretend to understand the meaning of the word “context”. Taking words out of context changes their intent or renders them meaningless. Having a discussion with someone who takes everything out of context is like saying everything twice: once for the original statement, and then again (and again and again) as you explain what you meant. Its bullshit, and I’ve had enough of it.

  19. 20 JJ Monday, January 26, 2009 at 6:24 am

Bruce – I thought that remark about the withered brain was somewhat appropos, coming from someone who definitely knows whereof he speaks.

  20. 21 JJ Monday, January 26, 2009 at 6:51 am

    psa – Oh, you’re good πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜†

Wait. What?
