Circle wagons, fire inwards

What’s an extreme right-wingnut to do when they can’t get anyone to pay attention to their insufferable whining about abortion?  Easy: turn on other extreme right-wingnuts over whether they’re anti-abortion enough.

American Right To Life, radical anti-abortion absolutists who are so far out there that they’ve criticized Focus on the Family for not being sufficiently anti-choice, recently took to the radio talk shows to go after Ann Coulter for her support of pro-choice presidential candidate Mitt Romney last year.   This clip has some short takes of the on-air ambushes, during which the foetishists drove Coulter even more bugshit than she is already:

Whew.  When you’re insane enough to make Ann Coulter look almost normal, you’ve truly crossed the Rubicon into the most hideous heart of fetus fetishizing darkness.  Uh, whoops, I meant to say — keep up the good work, RTL!

What a pair that photo makes: Ann Coulter and a Munchkin. Made for each other, perphaps?

Wow, aside from anything else, I’m amazed by the sudden about-face at the end, where she goes in mid-stride from ranting about crazy Romny conspiracy theorists to oh, thank you for having me on, it was a pleasure. She’s got that act down COLD!

Torontonian – They’ve both got that weird gleam in their eyes… the crazy is strong in them.

Kelseigh – I had to laugh at how crazy she went… that was funny. But you’re right — even though she was clearly caught unawares by the element of surprise by these fetus fetishists, she still has the opening and closing script down cold. Haha!

Gggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I finally gave in to that little voice in my left ear — the one that says, “You want to hear this,” (the voice in my right ear keeps warning me, “You’ll be sorrrrrrry.” Inevitably they are both right!) and listened to it.

So. Lemme get this straight. She only wants to talk about the book but she doesn’t want to talk about anything in the book?

    Is that about right?

Chimera – No, she just doesn’t want to talk about Mitt Romney. Since he lost the nomination, I suspect there isn’t much in the book about him 😉 These people change allegiances like the rest of us change pants.

Wait. What?
