Freak Alert

This was too creepy for me not to post.

From Right Wing Watch, here’s a short video clip of anti-choice fascist Lila Rose, addressing the “Values Voters Summit” on the weekend.  Watch closely how the expression on her face transforms into almost a snarl when she talks about how women should be forced to have abortions “in the public square” — a truly medieval hair-shirt punishment routine if there ever was one — then transforms back to a benign smile when she talks about “hearing angels sing”.

I don’t see misogyny behind every tree, but for a few seconds there I saw a hatred of women so raw it was like a slap in the face.

It really makes me wonder about the origins of Ms.Rose’s crusade against Planned Parenthood; what she experienced that filled her with such loathing for her own sex. According to RHRC, it’s a question she “studiously avoids answering“.

Sounds like she agrees with Stephen the Corpulent that women are a “left wing fringe group,” eh?

I feel like maybe we would also get tired of seeing knee surgery, were it done in the public square. I mean, WTF??

She’s something right out of The Handmaid’s Tale.

Yep, she’s a regular Serena Joy, isn’t she?

    Good morrow, all!

Oh, this bitch definitely makes my Wankers of the Week.

That was quite an interesting reveal, although most of us knew that Lily-white Rose was a snarling, judgmental, medieval-christian zealot.

  8. 8 JJ Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 2:04 pm

JAB – This chick makes Steve look like a flaming liberal feminist.

  9. 9 JJ Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 2:09 pm

pedgehog – It’s all about punishment, nothing more nothing less.

Lila would never demand that knee surgery be done in “the public square” because she doesn’t think women deserve to be punished for running marathons and tearing their ACL ligaments — she does, however, think they deserve to be punished for doing that thing that results in an unwanted pregnancy

    Dr.Prole

Seriously. When I first heard about her videos, I thought she was probably just a gung-ho fetus fetishist because she was young and dumb and didn’t have a lot of life experience… kids sometimes get that way when they get involved in a “cause”, enthusiastic but short-sighted.

But seeing her speak, wow. It’s obvious she gets off on the thought of women being punished for daring to think they might own their own bodies.

    CTZen

Not only that, but there are thousands of kids in foster care that need to be adopted. Where the hell are all these fetus fetishists? Oh that’s right, they only fetishize about the fetus, not real living breathing kids. George Carlin was right!

God, I love Lila Rose, an American hero. She’s right, if baby murder were performed in the public square, it would be illegal real fast.

The demonic pro-abortion people really have a grip on half the population.

    Pedge,

How many killins did you do today?

  15. 15 Bina Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 5:32 pm

    Jasper,

Fuck right off. You’re the reason abortion is legal–no woman should have to keep anything a douchebag like you leaves behind.

  16. 16 JJ Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 5:41 pm

Bina – Jasper doesn’t leave anything behind, he leaves it all in a tube sock.

Hey Jasper! Don’t forget to have Safe Sox!

  17. 17 Jasper Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 5:56 pm

    A tube sock? I don’t get it.

    Bino,

Now that’s not very kind. Abortion became illegal through a bunch of lies. The issue is not going away. Even Obama knows its wrong, he starting to see the truth I hope…

  18. 18 Michelle Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 6:30 pm

Abortion became illegal through a bunch of lies.

Well, I’ll be … Jasper said something with a grain of truth in it.

He’s right – anywhere that abortion is illegal, it is because of a fabric of lies and deception that the moralizing fetus fetishist crowd keeps spouting.

  19. 19 deBeauxOs Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 6:41 pm

Jasper the unfriendly jerk? Hostile yet. Isn’t it so interesting how he and Lila Rose get all 12th century about women who chose to terminate a pregnancy.

How about the men who impregnated those women get a public vasectomy in front of cheering crowds? Think that might encourage them to stop breeding irresponsibly? Perhaps we could turn it into some form of reality and sports event.

  20. 20 Jasper Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 6:48 pm

    *legal*

“How about the men who impregnated those women get a public vasectomy in front of cheering crowds?”

The men should be responsible too but the women allowed the man to impregnate her (the women gets the final say in sex, not the man). If she’s not ready to bear children then she should not be having sex. This is what we call ‘death sex’, where there is victim, the unborn child pays the ultimate price for the parents irresponsibility.

  21. 21 Rob F Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 7:05 pm

“The men should be responsible too but the women allowed the man to impregnate her (the women gets the final say in sex, not the man). If she’s not ready to bear children then she should not be having sex….”

This is like saying that someone who opens a window to let in fresh air because their house is stuffy has no right to throw an intruder out. After all, if they weren’t ready to have someone else move in they shouldn’t have opened the window.

  22. 22 deBeauxOs Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 7:12 pm

And if men are not ready to have children they should not be having sex.

How about Purity Balls for boys. They could attend them with their mothers and pledge to stay virgins too.

If men took responsibility for their behaviour and stopped harassing women to have sex with them, there would be none of what you call “death sex” Jasper.

  23. 23 Michelle Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 7:35 pm

If she’s not ready to bear children then she should not be having sex.

    Uh huh. Right.

Sex is about a lot more than just procreation. It is also a significant part of how a couple builds and maintains their social bonds. (a little piece of reality that Christianity forgot about somewhere along the way – around about the time some genius came up with the idea that clergy should be celibate, I suspect.

I don’t really need to point out the whole issue of rape and forced sex, do I?

Or perhaps you’d like to explain how well the “abstinence” line works with teens … the numbers are out there – even for those who take “virginity pledges” – it’s surprising how many end up being sexually active – pledge or not. There’s a reason for this, Jasper.

  24. 24 JJ Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 8:06 pm

Hey Jasper – Aren’t you a Values Voter? Why weren’t you at the Values Voters Summit? You could have wanked over Little Miss Torquemada in person, maybe the two of you could have spent some quality time together pulling the wings off flies.

  25. 25 deBeauxOs Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 9:13 pm

On the other hand Jasper, if men stopped had to stop harassing women for sex, maybe they’d start having sex with each other.

Is that what you’re really afraid of, Jasper?

  26. 26 Dead Men Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 10:36 pm

If much of the Bible was read out in the public square, the country would turn atheist in a helluva hurry.

Say Jasper, aren’t you supposed to be trying to kill us heathen bastards? I’m pretty certain the old saying amongst you folks was ‘Killing an infidel is the Path to Heaven!’

  27. 27 JJ Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 4:41 am

    Rob F – You’re using logic. That’s not a happening concept in Jasper’s World.

  28. 28 JJ Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 4:45 am

DM – Did you catch that “death sex” thing? Weird. Culture of Death!

  30. 30 pedgehog Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 10:59 am

Jasper – lots. I think I personally killed about eight thousand babies today, and then I ate them on sandwiches. Yum yum! Then I had sex for fun cause I’m a wicked, wicked feminazi witch.

  31. 31 pedgehog Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 11:03 am

Does wanking count as “death sex”?

Also, if sex where a pregnancy results and then is terminated is “death sex”, and presumably sex to have a baby is “life sex”, what is it when you have sex for funsies and don’t get pregnant? Also what about gay sex, group sex, mutual masturbation?

Or is everything that is not man-on-lady, married, missionary position for the purpose of procreation, “death sex”?

  32. 32 JJ Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 12:25 pm

    pedge

Does wanking count as “death sex”?

But of course. Wanking is the cause of the worst mass murder of all time, the Tubesock Holocaust.

what is it when you have sex for funsies and don’t get pregnant? Also what about gay sex, group sex, mutual masturbation?

Ka-BOOM! That was Jasper’s head exploding.

Abortion became illegal through a bunch of lies.

First and ONLY true thing you’ve said so far, Gasper!

PS: I’m female. My name is B-I-N-A. If you can’t spell, get remedial help, and give thanks that you weren’t aborted just on the grounds of your mental retardation alone.

Oh, and women have the right–R-I-G-H-T–to consequence-free sex. Maybe not with YOU, which I suspect is why you’re so angry and why you hate us so much. But we have a right to it, and if you don’t like it, suck it. It’s not going away, and neither is LEGAL abortion.

  35. 35 Rob F Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 6:43 pm

    Deuteronomy 13 (bolding added):

1 If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a miraculous sign or wonder, 2 and if the sign or wonder of which he has spoken takes place, and he says, “Let us follow other gods” (gods you have not known) “and let us worship them,” 3 you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him. 5 That prophet or dreamer must be put to death, because he preached rebellion against the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery; he has tried to turn you from the way the LORD your God commanded you to follow. You must purge the evil from among you.

6 If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your fathers have known, 7 gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), 8 do not yield to him or listen to him. Show him no pity. Do not spare him or shield him. 9 You must certainly put him to death. Your hand must be the first in putting him to death, and then the hands of all the people. 10 Stone him to death, because he tried to turn you away from the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 11 Then all Israel will hear and be afraid, and no one among you will do such an evil thing again.

12 If you hear it said about one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you to live in 13 that wicked men have arisen among you and have led the people of their town astray, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods you have not known), 14 then you must inquire, probe and investigate it thoroughly. And if it is true and it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done among you, 15 you must certainly put to the sword all who live in that town. Destroy it completely, [a] both its people and its livestock. 16 Gather all the plunder of the town into the middle of the public square and completely burn the town and all its plunder as a whole burnt offering to the LORD your God. It is to remain a ruin forever, never to be rebuilt. 17 None of those condemned things [b] shall be found in your hands, so that the LORD will turn from his fierce anger; he will show you mercy, have compassion on you, and increase your numbers, as he promised on oath to your forefathers, 18 because you obey the LORD your God, keeping all his commands that I am giving you today and doing what is right in his eyes.

Jasper, can you provide a link to a “liberal” blog that “seems to like” Islam?

  37. 38 JJ Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 7:47 pm

Rob F – Geez, don’t encourage him, man

It’s 2 hours later… I wonder if Jasper’s made it all the way through that block of text yet?

  38. 39 JJ Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 7:50 pm

Dr.Prole – Do you think Jasper might be a Poe?

Although, after that little outburst he had the other day, maybe not. (“Come over here so I can murdalize ya! All of ya!”)

  39. 40 Dr. Prole Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 8:12 pm

    No, I think he’s a Schmo.

He was gonna kick all our heathen asses with like one hand tied behind his back, maybe with some sweet Godly nunchucks or something. Then “sorry”. Now back on message with the talking points and false equivalences, accusing “liberals” of supporting terrorists, etc. Blah blah blah.

    Schmo.

  40. 41 JJ Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 9:27 pm

Dr.Prole – *sigh* I guess you’re right, he’s the real thing. Kind of a schizoid, eh? One minute he’s “I’ll kick your heathen asses” and the next minute he’s all calm and “sorry”. What is this calming, relaxing thing he does between comments?

  41. 42 Frank Frink Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 1:54 am

  43. 44 Mike Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 6:08 pm

    Dear Jasper,

Perhaps you and Lila ought to stop reading your own press releases. You seem to have a very narrow view of us on the pro-choice side.

I for one will never let it get to the point where my daughter’s body is enslaved by scumbag Christo-fascists like you. I am not what you think of as a “liberal” or a “lefty” – I am against gun control. Completely.

    Capisce?

Give up no, you can’t win. You won’t win.

(Cue Patsy and the over wrought hysterics and accusations)
