Believe it or not, the Washington Times (Moonies, yes) has something called “The Bush Store” where you can buy Bush stuff, like this “commemorative book”:
Oh my god. A coffee table book no less, resplendent with the goofy visage of the former fratboy-president looking constipated.
Here’s your chance to be one of the very first to own this compelling coffee table styled book about an extraordinary president in turbulent times. “W” is packed with gripping pictures and stories all beautifully presented in this historical keepsake presentation of all eight years of the Presidency of George W. Bush. Be the first to own this memorable book and be proud to share it with your friends and family.
Proud to share it? I wouldn’t use it to line the litter box — I doubt if my cats would dignify it by pissing on it. $24.99 +$6.00 shipping! Who? Who?? Maybe I don’t really want to know.
$24.95 is pretty cheap for something like that, just like W.
I wouldn’t use it for litter, depends on the stock, even after running it through a shredder it might cut kitties paws. I’ll bet it’s printed on some kind of heavy coated stock that doesn’t even burn well.
Bruce – It is pretty cheap as coffee table books go. I have coffee table books about art (not kept on the coffee table however), and they usually run around $50 on the low end. If it’s that cheap now, how cheap will it be in a year from now when it’s in the coffee table book remainder bin?
😆
Couldn’t they get a better picture than that?
They should print it on TP.
Good morrow, all!
I am given to understand that the George W. Bush Presidential Library has experienced a delay in opening. It appears that Dubya hasn’t quite finished colouring the second book.

Chet –
I would have preferred one of these.
Heh.
Phatbiker – That’s probably what most of the unsold copies of this book will end up being, after they’re recycled.

😆 Imagine a library that has 2 books: “My Pet Goat”, Parts I & II.
I dunno. I kinda liked this one best.
JAB – Hahahaha — This one’s not bad either: won’t someone think of the children!?
