The Calgary atheist bus campaign got rolling today, and some people are anything but pleased, pronouncing it an “Atheist FAIL”. However, in the spirit of the occasion, they’ve generated a bus slogan of their own:

Chimera – They probably prolong it on purpose — nothing says “PUNISHMENT” like grinding one’s genitals clean with abrasive housecleaning agents. The entire sex-and-cleansing ritual probably climaxes during the “cleansing” part.

Yeah, it’s a huge story in Calgary. Not. Blip of a media profile and pffft. Unless there’s buzz on the talk radio that I’ve missed, always a possibility. I think the local media are praying to the great God Scandal for vandalism to happen.
I read somewhere that they were a little concerned about vandalism, but the buses have been running for a couple of days and nothing so far. I think even most religious people are taking it in stride. I wonder if they’ll come up with their own busboard campaign.
